I’m terrible sorry to have missed the first two lessons this morning. I got up early as usually in the morning, but when I was ready to leave I find my bicycle’s front tyre flat. I wanted to take bus or taxi to school, and I didn’t have any money with me. I had to look for a place along the street to get my bicycle repairing.Unluckily, there were not any bicycle repair shop were open in the early morning. So I had to walk to school, carrying my bicycle all the way. That’s how I was late for school.
Please don’t worry with my lessons, Mr. Li. I will make up for it and turn to teachers for help if necessary.

When 1 first learn to write in English, I ran into many difficulties. The main problem was that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything which I came across into my own language while I was reading. My teacher advised me to keep a diary. Everybody needs time to relax and have fun, even if they’re too old for the playground. School days are long and requires a lot of focus. Students should be given the opportunity to taking a real break. After hours of sitting at a desk, they can make most of the time for the physically activity. Besides, it has been shown to lower stress levels but boost the ability to focus on in class afterward. Students at schools with a break for upper grade say they return to class more energized and refreshing. Even if they’re not being active, the break gives us a chance to socialize, that helps them learn communication and other skills. Why should school be all work and no play?

On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great diversity of robot. It was amazed to find those robots could do a great number of things just like real people, including playing chess, playing piano and drawing pictures. What’s more, the robots were in different kinds and shapes, which made us enjoyable. In addition, that excited me most was the show given by a group of robots. They danced just as if they are dancers on the stage. By visiting Robot World, I have learned a lot of about robots, especial about their functions and shapes. The great human wisdom is S0 powerful that it make us feel more comfortable live in the world.
