Some parents think it’s ________ to keep the kids far away from smartphones. But sometimes their kids have to do homework on apps. This cat from Japan is Tama. Tama likes wearing a staionmaster’s（站长的）hat. Every day, her job is to welcome visitors. Many people from all over the world come to see the cat each year.

A pig in the aiport

When people take the plane for the first time, they usually feel very well. But if they are at San Francisco Aiport USA, they will not feel like that. A pig called Li Lou at the airport will help them walk around at the airport to make people happy. It can say “Hello” to people with its nose. It can thank people with it’s tail（尾巴）. Sometimes it even dances on a ball. It will make people’s first plane trip full of fun.

I know China’s Teachers’ Day is coming up on September 10th. Are you ready for that? Hopefully you’ve got a plan to show your love and respect (尊敬) to your teachers. In the US we celebrate (庆祝) Teachers’ Day during the first week of May.

Let me tell you what we do on this day. _________ Many kids make gifts by themselves, such as cards or pictures. I used to (曾经) bring delicious fruit to my favorite teachers. Later as I got older, I would do bigger things for them, such as inviting (邀请) them over for dinner.

The stores in our country have special sales for teachers on this day. Some restaurants provide (提供) free meals for teachers. It’s a nice way to pay them back for all their hard work.
