Welcome to Chongqing. For a three-day trip, Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao are the places you can’t miss. There are many ways to travel in our city. And I hope the following ideas from my friends can help you.
Ken:
In my eyes, you can take a bus. It is easy and cheap, only 2 yuan for adults and free for kids under 1.3 meters. But it may take much more time in rush hours on weekdays.
Tom:
Why not try the monorail in our city? Lots of visitors come here to watch it go through the tall building in Liziba. Isn’t it special? The ticket is also 2 yuan each. But more importantly, you don’t need to worry about being late. No Traffic Jam(堵车)for a Monorail!
Iris:
How about taking a taxi? The taxi fee is around 20 yuan. It is faster! You can believe in the taxi drivers here! They can find the places quickly, even when you can’t find the way on your phone! And they are always ready to tell you where the best restaurant is!
Best wishes!
Yours,
Alex

Boys and girls, I know you may be sad now. Yeah, we lose the game. I’m sorry to hear that. Well, if you love to watch sports games, you’ll see it happen—tennis players jump over the net to shake hands after a hard match; football players exchange(交换)ball uniforms after 90 minutes of knocking each other around; even boxers(拳击运动员)touch gloves at the beginning of the game. Players in every event act in this way. What’s that? It’s all parts of sportsmanship(体育精神).
Everyone feels great when they win. They may sing or dance excitedly on the ground. However, it’s always hard for people to say in public(在公众场合)that they made a bad play. Good sportsmanship is what we really need.
Good sportsmanship means that you play by the rules, talk politely to everyone during games and stay cool even when you lose the game. I do think every one of you tried your best. And at the school sports meeting, it’s more important for you to know how to work as part of a team and cheer your team on. Just like in life, you may not always win, but believe me, sportsmanship will help you out. After all, there is always the next match, right? So enjoy your day and stay cool! You can make it!

Hooray! Here comes 2022, the Year of the Tiger! Let’s learn more about tigers!
For Chinese people, the tiger is the king of all the animals. It is a symbol of bravery and power. You can often see pictures of tigers on the walls of people’s houses. Chinese parents like making tiger hats and shoes for their children. They are in the shape(形状)of a tiger’s head. Parents think that their kids will grow to be as strong as little tigers.
You must be surprised to see the tiger paintings in Japan, because most of them look like big cats! In old times, Japanese people loved Chinese paintings a lot. But there were no tigers in Japan, so the artists painted the pictures with their imagination!(想象)
In western countries, tigers are also thought to be powerful animals. There are lots of cool sayings in English. If your father is very strict with you and always pushes you hard, you can call him a “tiger father”. If someone looks strong or dangerous, but is not really so, then he is a “paper tiger”. If you want someone not to be angry and calm down(冷静), you can say to him “Easy, tiger!”.
2022, the Year of the Tiger means a lot to every one. Enjoy your day and work like a tiger! Never take a job without thinking twice, or you may ride a tiger!
