Also, it’s not polite of us to litter. So we should take them out and put them in the dustbin or waste collection station.

    60    Plants can not only absorb（吸收）harmful gases to make the air fresh, but also create a better living environment for us. So we can plant some plants indoors, such as small trees, flowers and grass.

Once upon a time, there was a couple named Sue and John. Both of them were artists.

In the late autumn, John became very sick. After the doctor visited John several times, he told Sue, “His condition is quite bad. John seems to have lost all will（意志）to live. If he doesn’t want to live, medicines will not help him.”

Sue tried her best to make John take an interest in things around him. She sang and danced, she painted their favorite pictures, she told jokes, but John did not respond.

When I was 3 years old, my parents discovered I was totally deaf. But from the third grade, they decided to put me in a”mainstream”school where all of my classmates had normal hearing.
