A farmer went for a trip with his two donkeys (驴). He put some boxes on the first donkey. The boxes were full of money. He put some heavy corn ________ the second donkey. As we all know, Lu Xun was one of the greatest Chinese writers. Lu Xun was his pen name. His real name is Zhou Shuren. Lu Xun was born in a rich family on September 25, 1881. He grew up in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, Lu Xun was a hard-working student. He got good grades and enjoyed reading a lot at school. In 1902, Lu Xun went to study in Japan. Two years later he started to study medicine there because he wanted to be a doctor and helped people to keep healthy. However, he left his school two years later. From then on, he decided to be a writer. He thought it was more important to help Chinese people think right. He wrote a lot of articles. And he sent them to newspapers. Although Lu Xun died, we will remember him forever.

A man wanted to visit one of his friends. It was quite far away and so he took some bread along for his lunch. As he went along, he said to himself, “My friend is sure to give me a nice meal. He is going to give me a good wine to drink. So what’s the use of such dry bread?” As he said this, he threw the bread in the dust (尘土).

He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big because of the rain in the past few days. He couldn’t cross the river. He hoped there was a boat to take him over. So he waited and waited. He waited for a long time. Then the sun began to set (落山). The man said to himself, “I cannot go to my friend’s home.”

Then he started for home. Soon he felt very hungry. He really wanted to have something to eat. But he didn’t have anything. Suddenly he saw some dry, dusty and hard bread on the road. He was very happy. He picked them up and ate them all.

Do not threw good things away, you may need them later on.

Like many other young boys, I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I was a middle school student. My mother advised me to be a teacher like her, but it seemed that I was not interested in it. My father wanted me to be a pianist. However, I couldn’t stand spending all of my time in front of a piano.

I got my goal (目标) after I went to high school. I got a part time job at the school radio station and I found it was interesting. I loved to discuss school life and my favorite music with my schoolmates on the radio. I kept doing this job during the next six years. When I graduated from university, I got a full-time job at our local (当地的) radio station. My career (事业) began. My program is successful and I have a lot of fans. I enjoy my job and my life now.
