There is an old American saying, “Loose lips sink ships.” This means that if you speak too much about something, especially to people who you don’t know so well, it’ll cause all kinds of trouble. Maybe now you’re in this situation.

I was at the game and you did your best. I think it was awful of your teammate not to try his best. You know, teamwork, is very important. If you play, play it well! But I don’t think it’s OK to talk behind his back because it might hurt his feelings. Maybe there is a better way to solve the problem.

In my view, no secret is safe. It’s natural for your friend to tell others about what you’re sharing. This is how we keep close to each other in a group. So, learn the lesson. Next time, keep it to yourself.

I understand why you were angry with your teammate. A successful team requires everyone’s effort. But what you did doesn’t actually help. Next time in the same situation, try to communicate with your teammate directly and honestly. Besides, when filled with anger, calm down, and always remember: think first, tell him you’re angry because what he did made the situation worse.

44     It’s easier than you think. Just make sure your parents know what you’re doing. Get them to know your friends. Phone them if you stay somewhere else late so that your parents don’t call every friend in the phone book looking for you.     45     Learn to take responsibility for mistakes. Talk about your ideas with them. They may talk about theirs with you in return.

Try to understand your parents. They are also practicing being parents and need help from you. They may make mistakes sometimes, but they are the person who love you always!

A.They wish you to grow up healthily and happily.
B.When you make mistakes, be brave to say sorry to them.
C.Why do some parents seem not so friendly in children’s eyes?
D.So what can you do to better your relationship with your parents?
