In Shenzhen, people can download (下载) an App on the phone. With the App, they can find how they use electrícity at home.     26     The number shows the carbon pollution from their family. People can even compare (比较) their numbers with different families’. For families with the most pollution, the App will tell them the ways to use less electricity. Families with the least pollution can get gifts like subway cards.

Riding a bike is a good way of exercising. But Robert didn’t want to learn how to ride a bike in the past. As a kid, he watched TV all day. He didn’t like outdoor activities, and he didn’t have any friends.

However, things changed (改变) when his grandpa came to his home. Grandpa took him to the zoo by bike. Robert enjoyed watching animals but he couldn’t ride bikes. Grandpa decided to teach him in the next two days. On the first day, with Grandpa’s help, Robert got on his bike and could ride for a while (一会儿). He thought riding a bike was easy. The next day, Grandpa asked him to ride the bike by himself. Soon Robert fell off the bike. Although he did it carefully every time, he still kept falling. Robert wanted to give up (放弃), but Grandpa always stood next to him and told him to have another try. After failing more times, Robert was excited to find he could ride for a few minutes.

From then on, Robert enjoyed riding a bike. It brings better life to him. He stops watching TV all day long. He also finds a healthy and interesting way to go to school. And he makes many good friends because of riding a bike.
