	Social robot Can robots talk to us like humans? Jibo, a robot made in US, can talk to you. The robot has a big, round head and a big body with no eyes or mouth. It uses animated icons( 动画图标 ) to show emotions ( 情 感 ). It just seems like a real human. Right now, Jibo can only do some easy things, like taking photos or reading news to you. But he may learn to do new things in the future.
	Fidget spinner They are small plastic or metal toys with a ball in the middle. The toys can twirl around on your fingertip( 指 尖 ). Once they are spinning( 旋转 ), you can put the toy anywhere as long as it is a flat ( 平的 ) surface, such as a ruler or even the nose of a pet dog. It's very popular with young people around the world. There are only three important days in everyone’s life and two of them are the ones that you don't need to worry about. Serigne Fallou Mbacke, a man of God, who lived in Senegal (West Africa) between 1888 and 1968, used to say, “The day is today, it is the only day, the past is gone and will never come back and the future belongs to God.”

Harriet Beecher Stowe, 1811—1896, author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin, once said almost the same thing, “The past, the present, and the future are really one: they are today.”

We all know that many people spend one half of their days regretting for the past, and the other half worrying about the future, leaving no time to enjoy the present when everything happens. How can such people get ahead in life? People all over the world have made countless discussions on the subject but it does not seem to make a difference. Most of us are still everywhere but in the present.

As the saying goes, if you do what everybody does, you will get what everybody gets! Make a difference, and live in the present. It will help you achieve more, become a better person and live a happier life, a life without worries.

Today is all you have. There is no guarantee ( 保证 )that you will live to see tomorrow and there is not a thing you can change about the past. Dennis Waitley who is a speaker and author puts it so beautifully in one of his books: The past is a cancelled check, the future is a promissory note ( 期 票 ), but the present, the present is liquid cash.

Always remember that today is a gift and that is the reason why it is called the present.

Drowning (溺水) is among the 10 leading causes of death of children and young people in every region of the world, with children aged under 5 years especially at risk and males twice as likely to drown as females.

Tragedies are happening over and over again. To prevent them from growing further, we need to keep some safety tips in mind. Remember, you can drown in the sea just as easily as a swimming pool.

●        Supervise when in or around Water.

Ask a responsible adult to watch young children while in the bath and all children swimming or playing in or around water. Because drowning occurs quickly and quietly, adults should not be involved in any other distracting activity (such as reading, playing cards, or talking on the phone) while watching children, even if lifeguards are present.

●        Drowning ≠ Crying for help.

Drowning is often not as dramatic as what we see in movies. When someone is drowning, especially if it is a child, they may not be able to shout out. A lot of times when kids drown, they look like they are just absentminded — but they are actually going unconscious. At this point, they should be immediately carried out of the water.

●        Life jackets can reduce risk.

Don’t use air-filled or foam toys, such as “water wings”, “noodles”, or inner-tubes, instead of life jackets. These toys are not life jackets and are not designed to keep swimmers safe.

●        Don’t try to save drowning friends.

Yes, what we are telling you is this is not when you should show your unconditional love to your drowning friends and family members. It is very likely that by saving them, you can get yourself into danger, and might end up becoming a drowning victim yourself.

Saving someone drowning hand-in-hand with a few others can be even more dangerous. The “human chain” you form can easily break if one of you experiences any kind of tiredness, and one person can drag down the whole team.

●        Know who can save a life.

Now, knowing that you cannot really save a life, who should you ask for help? Lifeguards. They are usually well-trained and are equipped with many tested life-saving methods. Therefore, if you think you see someone drowning, alert a lifeguard at once, even if you’re not sure what drowning looks like or think you might be wrong.

The aims of the students who come to school is to study. But to study requires a right way, or you waste either time or the money. The following are the ways of studying.

The best time for reading is morning. Because in the morning, the air is fresh and our minds are clear. For that reason, we can get good results.

In studying we must be patient. If we don't understand a text well, we must read it again. We should not read the next one till we have learned the first one well.

When we are studying, we must put our hearts into the book. We can not read absent-mindedly ( 心不在焉地 ) , or we can get nothing from the book while we are reading.

We must always ask “whys”. If it is not well understood, write it down and ask our teachers or parents, brothers or friends, in any possible way. We must know it completely and then our knowledge can be used well.

Though there are many ways for studying, however, the above mentioned will be quite enough if we can keep them in heart and do so.
