Time passes rapidly with no sound. It has been 100 years since the Communist Party of China(CPC中国共产党) was founded(成立). There are many stories about the Party and me.
Both my parents are members of the Party. When I was younger, they told me many touching stories about the CPC. The spirits of Jinggangshan and Yan’an moved me so much. From that time, I became interested in the Party.
As I grew up, I learned more. In my eyes, my parents regard their membership in the Party as an important thing. Deeply, they know they should help others. They give away clothes to people in need. The give food to the poor. They help the cleaners sweep the streets. From them, I understand the duty of the Party members.
A few years have passed. I have read lots of books and watched movies that show the spirit of the CPC. What’s more, I have joined in many activities that are about the Party.
Now I am a League member(团员). I believe I will be a real Party member one day. If I become a member of the Party, I will do what I can to help others. I’m looking forward to that day!

Together, we made tea for our mom. I got the hot water and my brother put the sugar and milk. I only knew how to make fried eggs, but that was enough for breakfast! I cut up some bananas and apples and my brother put them on a plate with eggs and bread. Breakfast is ready!
What we made wasn’t perfect. The tea was a little too sweet and the eggs were a little burned (烧焦的), but our mom ate all of it. We also made a card together. But to our surprise, my father didn’t punish John. He picked up the book and looked at it for a while. Without saying a word, he sat down and wrote something carefully beside John’s drawings. 【推荐2】When I was very young, people in our village lived by planting fruit trees. My grandmother always took me to the orchard (果园) on the hill. At that time, they had to carry water from the river at the foot of the hill to halfway up the hill. Even though we worked so hard, the production level of fruit was still low because it was short of water there.
One day, two young men led a group of workers to our village. They learned about the difficulties we faced, and later, canal (水渠) and other projects began to be built in my village, “Who are they?” I asked. “They are good men from our government,” my grandma answered.
Shortly afterwards, I moved to another city for my junior high school. The only reason I ever came back to my hometown was my grandmother.
One day, my family and I made time to return. We were surprised because everything had changed. The canal ran past every orchard so villagers didn’t have to go up and down the hill anymore. The river was now so clean that fish swam happily in it. When we arrived home, my grandma took out some fresh pears and apples. She told us that after the water conservation project (水利工程) was completed, a policy was made to encourage more people to increase the fruit production with clean water in the river.
Thank those good men who have devoted themselves to the development of out countryside. Nowadays, people work hard to live in a big city. However, we should not forget our hometowns where we are from.
