【推荐1】For teenagers, success is usually the achievement of a goal or completion of something they really need, such as good grades and the ability to get along well with their classmates. Some schools used to measure (判定) the success of students according to grades, but now they pay special attention to moral (道德的) education and character-building to make sure teenagers achieve success in building human relationships.

Schools give chances to students to discover their hidden ability so that they can achieve success. For example, students who are good at speaking skills are advised to take part in speech competitions, and those interested in dancing are encouraged to perform in front of their classmates. Teenagers also get the pleasure of success when they join their favorite clubs.

Teenagers are often told that success is not easy to achieve and that success lies in hard work. Great efforts have to be put into project work. Teenagers are less likely to do things later than planned because this will lead to mountains of work and will finally make them nervous. Another good quality (品质) is a sense of responsibility which makes them remember that a task has to be completed.

Sticking to moral values is the key to success too. Honest teenagers will win the trust of friends and develop good relationships. Self-motivation (自我激励) is another quality to be developed. Because self-motivated teenagers will have the strong will to finish a task and finally get to enjoy a sense of achievement.

We’ll finally grow up someday, leaving our parents and facing the challenges in our lives. Parents may not be able to solve every problem for us.     1    

This is what our country tries to do now: helping more students learn working spirit. To stress the importance of hardworking spirit education among students of different ages, a guideline(指导方针) has been published recently.     2     Students should learn basic life skills and form good working habits through such education.

The government has been trying to stress the importance of hardworking spirit education.     3     Many teens don’t understand the importance of working hard and aren’t interested in doing so. According to a study of nearly 3, 000 students that was done in March in 2020, only 22 percent of primary and middle school students help with everyday chores around the houses.

    4     Primary and middle schools should provide students with hardworking spirit classes every week. Schools can also hold activities to give students real-world working experiences.     5     Parents, children’s first teachers, should also encourage children to learn how to do chores at home. Students should master one or two life skills every year, such as cooking, washing clothes and tidying up rooms.

Working spirit has great meaning to us, as students, we should take advantage of those social conditions and develop the spirit of hardworking.
