We are members of the Cleaner Club. We love to study in our school.

Look around our school. Do you think it is beautiful and clean? Sometimes the school isn’t beautiful. Some students drop litter around the school. The litter makes the school dirty. We can see paper, bags or bottles here and there. Those things should be in dustbins. Our club doesn’t want to see a dirty school, so every day, ten members of the club pick litter after school.

The school sports meeting starts next week. It is from Thursday to Friday. Can you not drop litter then? Our club hopes to pick all of the litter. And, can you help us?

At my old school, I used to help my classmates. It was really fun to help with their studies. I wasn’t really a top student who always got the highest grades, but I could explain to them clearly.

Now, when I’m free, I often volunteer on my town’s main street. Every weekend, other volunteers and I make a lot of dishes to feed everyone who passes by the street. There are always about 400~550 people. The long day makes me tired, but it also brings me great joy. The looks of joy on those people’s faces would make my weary day into a good day.

You can eat and talk with friends before classes. The club meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a. m. to 8:45 a.m. in the coffee house. There are a lot of different foods, like bread, cakes, milk, juice, bananas and apples. We’d like to make sure the students start their day with healthy food. We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so don’t skip breakfast for classes.

To make our club run well, we need some volunteers(志愿者) to help us. If you’d like to offer your help to the Breakfast Club, please come to the coffee house in the morning and tell us you want to join us. Our volunteer Jerry will write down your information(信息). The book tells the story of a pilot, called The Aviator, who crashes into the desert and meets a young prince there. Slowly The Aviator shares his story with The Little Girl by writing it down and sending her a page at a time. The pages are complete with the pictures in the book, speaking about his time in the desert and taking The Little Girl to an amazing world where anything is possible.

China is the first country in the world to see the film in two versions-in Chinese and English. The film shows The Little Girl’s life and tells The Little Prince’s story at the same time in a beautiful way.

Huang Lei, who voices the film together with his 9-year-old daughter, says the film is like a childhood dream, and the dream is lost by most adults in this stressed-out society.

“The most touching part is that every one of us was a good-natured kid like the Little Prince, and it’s a pity that this good characteristic(品质) goes away as time flies,” he says.
