Could you spend a whole day without buying anything? A Canadian artist called Ted Dave created Buy Nothing Day in 1992. And the idea has spread around the world since then. People in over 60 countries celebrate Buy Nothing Day on the last Friday in November now. You can celebrate Buy Nothing Day in different ways. You can avoid buying anything on the day, even online shopping. Or you can organize (组织) fun activities in shopping centres to call for people to buy nothing.

Though most people like Buy Nothing Day, some do not. Some people say that people just buy more things the next day. Other people say that it is just for people with too much money, because poor people only buy a few things in a year. What do you think? Is Buy Nothing Day a good idea to encourage you to produce less waste and think more about what you buy?

● Share your ideas with other people. When you have a new idea, talk about it with team members. This helps to improve the idea. Besides, it also helps to improve relationships with your team members.

【推荐2】People like swimming in summer, even in the other three season(季节), because swimming can make them strong. But you shouldn’t swim in a dangerous place. A lot of people died(死亡) when they were having fun in the water.

Some people are not careful. They often think they swim well, and they may be safe in water. Last summer, a few students went swimming in the river (河流). Unluckily, three of them never came out of the river.

Summer is here again. If you go swimming, don’t forget the three students. They died because they were not careful.

Don’t get close to the water when you are alone(单独) or when you see “No Swimming” sign. If you remember these, swimming will be good for you.
