The swan(天鹅) is a very gentle bird. It likes to swim on lakes. When it is young, it is grey and not a pretty bird at all. But when it is full-grown, it is as white as snow.

Music helps us exercise, but why does it have this effect (效果). Experts say there are two main reasons. The first is simple: Music distracts (使分心) us. How does Fritz explain this? “Maybe people did better on the special machines because they had more control,” he says. People created the beat. They could make it go faster or slower.
