The moon has     5     and dark spots. The bright spots are hills and mountains. The dark spots are places where flying rocks have hit the moon. There are also many flat parts of the moon. Hanfu is a Chinese dress. It has a long and rich history and it has become popular again in recent years. It is so popular that some people wear it in     1     life. Many young people, including some foreigners are starting to wear Hanfu. One of     2     is Rian, a young man from Brazil.

Two years ago, Rian became an English teacher at a school in Xi’an.     3     seeing many people wearing Hanfu, Rian was     4     in it. “My     5     taste of Hanfu was the Tang style. It’s fun to wear it,” said Rian.

After then, Hanfu has helped Rian learn     6     about Chinese culture. He wants to share it with friends     7     in China and abroad. So he makes short     8     of himself trying on Hanfu and posts them up on Western social media. It has     9     become a hot hit on the Internet. He is spreading Chinese culture in his own way.

This summer, many people watched the 31st FISU Summer World University Games (世界大学生运动会). From July 28 to August 8, 6,500 student players from 113     1     and regions (地区) came together in Chengdu. The players were     2     18 and 27 years old.

In the matches, they tried     3     for medals (奖牌). Players got 269 gold medals and broke 22 records (纪录) for the Games this time.

It’s all thanks to the young players’ hard work and confidence (自信). One example is Chinese player Wu Yanni.     4     each match, the 26-year-old liked to turn her head around and point her fingers to the sky. She did it to show she wants to     5     stronger.

After matches, players were happy to learn about their differences. The players     6     got to visit pandas in Chengdu. On July 31, Italian player Mario Del Basso met pandas for the     7     time in real life. They also loved the nice food. In Chengdu, many players     10     in love with chili powder (辣椒面). After the players left the city, they bought some chili powder back to their home countries.

I have a     1     image of a panda wearing a spacesuit (太空服), which looks like a winter sports athlete (运动员) from the future. “Bing” means “ice” in Chinese, which is a symbol of winter sports. “Dwen Dwen” suggests health and shows the     2     of the Olympics, including a strong     3     and a healthy body.

Hello! My name is Shuey Rhon Rhon. I look like a red     4    , just like the lanterns hanging on homes and streets to celebrate Chinese New Year.“Shuey” means “snow” in Chinese. “Rhon Rhon” are two different Chinese characters with the same pronunciation. Shuey Rhon Rhon symbolizes (象征)     5     among different cultures.

The Shenzhou XVII astronauts started their space mission (任务) on Oct 26. Their spaceship took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. On the spaceship are three astronauts: Tang Hongbo, 48; Tang Shengjie, 33; and Jiang Xinlin, 35. Their spaceship then joined with the Tiangong space station. They will do science studies and tests in space, as well as spacewalks. The Shenzhou XVII team, on average (平均地), has the space station’s     1     astronauts.

One of the astronauts Jiang Xinlin is from Henan. Both of his parents are farmers. They didn’t know their son was an astronaut     2     Oct 26. They felt very     3     of their son and watched the news live on TV with their neighbors and relatives. Jiang has two sisters and a brother, they lived a poor life when he was young. Their family could only make a living by growing crops and     4     sheep in a small village. Jiang Xinlin had to work to support his family when he was only fifteen years old.     5     it was tiring and hard that time, he never gave up. He     6     on studying after work every day. Later, his brother gave up study and found work to support their study. This hard     7     made him unforgettable, but also let him     8     understand that only studying can lead to a better future. After attending junior high school, Jiang Xinlin studied even harder and entered a military academy when he graduated. He worked as a pilot for about ten years and became an astronaut in 2020. As an astronaut, you should not only have a strong body, but also much professional knowledge. Jiang Xinlin practised necessary skills in the daytime and learned knowledge in the evening. At last, he was     9     as the Shenzhou XVII astronaut.

    10     hard work, Jiang Xinlin proves that if we keep working hard and never give up, we can surely make our dreams come true.

The day that every Chinese had looked forward to finally came. On September 17th, after going through a hard time, the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft (载人飞船) came back to earth. It was a complete    1    . The three taikonauts(中国宇航员), NieHaisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo tried all their best to make the journey to space a wonderful one.

Though they all    2    in good condition, they still accepted medical examinations immediately to make sure that they were    3    . In the following days, they will have more health checks and nutrition plans. The purpose is to have them get back to    4    they were, or even in better shape than before they left. Back to the moment that our taikonauts set off, everything was not certain. Wang Yaping is a Chinese spacewoman. She has made history when she was 33 years old—she has been China’s     1     teacher in space.

Wang     2     Chinese primary and middle school students on the earth physics phenomena(现象) in space. She prepared     3     for the lecture and expressed full confidence about the lesson.

Meeting the media(媒体), she said, “We are all students facing the space. We are     4     forward to encouraging our young friends to learn and research the mystical(神秘的) and beautiful space.”

Wang was born in June, 1980. She is     5     east China’s Shandong Province. She was a pilot in the People’s Liberation Army Air Force with experience of 1,600     6     of flying.

Except the space lecture, Wang     7     responsible(负责的) for monitoring(监测) the conditions of spacecraft space experiments and operation of equipment, among others.

Wang has served the People’s Liberation Army     8     August 1997. In May 2010, Wang     9     a member of the second batch of Chinese astronauts.
