Many Chinese people also like to post on social media, mainly including the photos of different food and the words of wisdom.

While sharing is indeed a good thing, oversharing, especially on social media platforms, is not good. For one thing, it may put people’s personal information at risk, because what they mean to share with only a small group of friends is actually broadcast to the whole world. Besides, oversharing online can influence people’s normal communication in real life, said Chen Canrui, a psychologist at South China Normal University. That is because oversharing makes deep communication less, which hurts strong social relationship, especially friendships. So it is very necessary for people to use social media properly.

1. According to Chart , how many U.S. adults think their friends overshare on social media?
2. What percent of Americans post on social media once or more a day?
3. What do Chinese mainly post on social media?
4. Please translate the underlined sentence into Chinese.
5. Why can oversharing online influence people’s real communication?

Monarch butterflies from the Northern and Central United States and Southern Canada make the most amazing journey in the insect (昆虫) world Each year, they travel about 3,000 miles to their winter home in Florida and Mexico. How can they fly so far? And why do they make this long and dangerous trip?

For many years, people in Mexico wondered where the orange and black butterflies came from every winter. Then, in 1937, a scientist started to follow and study the butterflies. For the next 40 years, he discovered that one butterfly started its journey in Canada. Four months later, it arrived in Mexico.

The length of the butterflies’ trip is only part of the mystery (奥秘). Another amazing thing is that the butterflies always return to the same area in Florida and Mexico.

How do the butterflies find their way back to the same place? This is an interesting question because only every fourth generation (代) makes the tip south. In other words, the butterfly that travels to Mexico this year is the great-great-grandchild of the butterfly that traveled there last year.

Each year, four generations of a Monarch butterfly family are born. Each generation of the family has a very different life. The first generation is born in the south in late April. It slowly moves north, reproduces (繁衍), and then dies. On the trip north, two more generations are born, reproduce, and die. Each of these generations of butterflies lives for only two to five weeks. In the autumn, the fourth generation of butterflies is born. This generation has a much longer life. It lives for about eight months and makes the amazing journey back to the winter home of its circle of life.

Today, people are still studying Monarch butterflies. But they are not clear about everything.

Stamps help keep in touch with others. They have played an important role in people’s lives for a long time now. Stamps pay for a letter to get where it needs to be. When there were no stamps, people didn’t pay for the letters they sent, but they paid for the letters they got. The first stamp over made is called Penny Black. It is an English stamp made in 1840 with a picture of Queen(女王)Victoria on it.

The number of people who send letters and use stamps has gone down. But stamp collection is always one of the world’s most popular hobbies. There are even stamp clubs to help people find new stamps to add to their collections. The Internet may have reduced the need for stamps, but it is actually helping collectors find more stamps to add to their collection.
