For years, the pace of life has increased for many people. They are too busy to cook. Luckily, business people provide a “fast” way to deal with the problem. You can go to the supermarket and buy cooked food. All you have to do is to heat it and you can enjoy your meal in 10 minutes.
Still too slow? OK, just go to a fast food restaurant, order your meal and within 5 minutes it will be made for you.
The problem is health. Fast food has much more fat, sugar, salt, oil and calories and far few vitamins than homemade food. And so, since people have always wanted to live longer, a small but growing population is choosing not only fresh food, but also organic (有机的) food.

For some people as soon as they lie (躺) on the bed they fall asleep (睡着). But for others they can’t get a goodnight’s sleep, and they feel tired in the morning. Why would these happen?
Even scientists don’t know the reason of sleep. After over 50 years of studying sleep, Dr. William Dement said. “The only reason we need to sleep is that we get sleepy (瞌睡的).”
The main reason of sleep is that the brain (大脑) needs it. Whose head doesn’t feel clearer after a good night’s sleep? But we don’t know how sleeping helps the brain. Some studies show the sleeping brain appears to be necessary for long-term memory (记忆). And it can make us forget unnecessary information. So sleep may help us remember what’s important and let us forget what’s not. Sleep can also help our health.
We should pay attention to (注意) the needs of our bodies, such as getting enough sleep. It’s important for us to have good sleep habits.

A dance performance taken from the poetic dance drama Poetic Dance: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting(《只此青绿》) has been considered the most amazing program at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
The creators of the poetic dance drama got inspiration from a great ancient Chinese painting, A Panorama of Mountains and Rivers (《千里江山图》) by Wang Ximeng. Wang was a painter from the Song Dynasty. The poetic dance drama tells the story of a researcher from the Palace Museum who has spent all his time studying the painting. We can follow him to the moment when Wang was about to finish the artwork. “It is not to tell people how great the painting is, but to help people understand traditional Chinese culture,” says Xie Suhao, who plays the character.
Since last August, the dance poetic drama has been played more than 50 times in over 18 cities in China. “I hope our dance can be performed on more and bigger stages to show more people all over the world a beautiful China with a mix of old and new,” says Meng Qingyang, the lead dancer of Poetic Dance: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting.

Venice is in the northeast of Italy. It wasn't built on land like Beijing or Shanghai, but on more than 110 islands. Seawater is everywhere around the city.
Even so, travel isn't difficult. The water ways have always been the best way to get around. There are 177 canals and more than 400 bridges that can guide you to where you want to go. People in Venice move from place to place by boat. They like to enjoy the scenery and cool summer nights while taking boat trips. They can talk to other people as they go along.
Venice grew out of small islands in saltwater lakes when some Italians escaped from a war over 1,500 years ago, and built homes there.
Water makes the city special, but it is also a big problem. Sometimes tourists will have such strange experiences. One moment they walk across the Rialto Bridge, and there's nothing special. But when they come back to the bridge an hour later, it's underwater and everyone is wearing rain shoes.
Once, people used too much underground water. This made the city get lower little by little. Now the city has gone down by about 23 centimetres. Another problem is the rising seawater. The temperature has risen over the years. This has made the ice of the Arctic Ocean(北冰洋) melt(融化) .
Every year, high water hits the city in autumn and winter. When a lot of water comes, more than half of the city is underwater.
Scientists are trying different ways to stop the city from getting even lower. The Italian government has asked some of Italy's biggest companies to build the MOST project, which is planned to be built under the seawater to stop the rising water. Anyway, this project is helping solve the problem.
