【推荐2】Franz Kafka (1883—1924), a famous writer, never married and had no children. Once, at the age of 40, when he was walking through a park in Berlin, Germany, he came across a young girl crying. She lost her favorite doll (玩偶).
He helped her look for the doll, but they couldn’t find it. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would look again.
The next day, when they still had not found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter “written” by the doll that said, “Please do not cry. I have gone on a trip to see the world. I’m going to write to you about my adventures.”
Thus (以此方式) began a story that continued to the end of Kafka’s life.
When they would meet, Kafka read aloud the letters (which he had written, of course) of adventures that the girl found exciting. Finally, Kafka read her a letter. The doll said it had finally returned to Berlin. Then, he gave her a doll that he had bought.
“This does not look like my doll at all,” she said. Kafka handed her another letter that said, “It is my trips that have changed me.” The girl hugged the new doll and took it home with her. A year later, Kafka died.
Many years later, the now grown-up (长大的) girl found a letter hidden (藏) inside the doll. The tiny letter, signed (署名) by Kafka, said, “Everything you love is very likely to be lost, but in the end, love will return in a different way.”

Early the next morning Mary ran into his room. “Dickon is here with the fox cub and the crow and two squirrels and a new-born lamb!” she cried. “Listen! Did you hear that caw-caw sound?” Colin looked very excited. Just then Martha opened the door. “Dickon and his animals are here, sir, ” she said.
Dickon came in. The new-born lamb was in his arms and the little red fox walked next to him. A crow sat on his left shoulder and a squirrel sat on the other. Another squirrel was looking out of his coat pocket. Colin stared as Dickon gave him the new-born lamb. “What is it doing?” cried Colin. “What does it want?” “It wants its mother, ” said Dickon, smiling. He took a baby’s bottle from his pocket. He pushed the bottle into the lamb’s mouth. The lamb drank the milk, then it fell asleep.
The next day, Dickon pushed Colin in the wheelchair slowly and carefully. Mary walked next to it. They went across the lawn to the long path near the wall.
“This is where I walked up and down looking for the door, ” whispered Mary. They walked a bit further, and then Mary whispered again: “The robin(知更鸟)flew over the wall here. And there, ” she said, pointing under a big bush in the flower bed, “is where I found the key”.
Then Dickon stopped pushing the chair. “And look!” Mary moved the ivy branch. “Here is the door. Dickon, push him in — push him in quickly!”
When they were inside the garden, Colin looked round and round. He saw the walls and the earth and the trees with their new green leaves. In the grass under the trees there were flowers — gold and purple and white. The trees were covered in pink and white flowers. The sun was warm on his face. Mary and Dickon stared at him. He looked different. His face was pink, not white.
“Mary! Dickon! I’m going to get well!” he cried, “And I’m going to live forever and ever!”

【推荐1】I would never forget what I learned from the day when I left my junior high school. On the last day our teacher told us something educational that I would like to share with you.
He began by drawing a man standing in the middle of a circle. To make it more interesting, he drew things like a house, a car and a few friends inside the circle.
He asked, “Can anyone tell me what this is?” In a long silence, one student decided to express his idea, “The world?” The teacher said, “That's close. This is your Comfort Zone. Inside your circle you have all the things that are important to you—your home, your family, your friends and your jobs. People feel that inside this circle they are safe from any danger.”
“Can anyone tell me what will happen when you step out of this circle?” A strong silence came over the room. The same student replied, “You are afraid.” Another student said, “You may make mistakes.” The silence continued and our teacher smiled and asked,“When you make mistakes, what can the result be?” The first student said, “You learn something.”
“Exactly, you are learning.” Our teacher turned to the blackboard and drew an arrow(箭头) pointing from the man to the outside of the circle. He went on saying, “When you leave your Comfort Zone, you put yourself out there. The result is that you learn something that you do not know to become a better person.” He drew a bigger circle around the original (原来的) circle, and added a few new things like more friends, a big house, etc.
A lesson from this story is that if you stay inside your Comfort Zone you will never be able to open your eyes to the outside world. When you step out of your Comfort Zone, you will make your circle bigger to challenge your mind and grow to be stronger, and all in all to be a better person.

Directed by Yang Yu, the new animated film Ne Zha is now one of the most popular films in Chinese history. Based on the well-known novel Fengshen Yanyi, the film describes how Ne Zha fights against other people's prejudice(偏见)and finally becomes a hero.
Unlike traditional Ne Zha stories, the new film is modern and humorous. In the new film, Ne Zha is not a traditional hero. Instead, he is a very naughty kid. The film contains a lot of funny dialogue between Ne Zha and the other cute characters.
The film is full of beautiful scenes, such as the one set in the Dragon King's Palace, and the
fight between fire and water. It is reported that more than 1,600 people were employed to create the animation, and more than 1,300 special effects were made. With the help of 3D technology, the film takes the viewers on a journey into an exciting world and allows them to experience Ne Zha's amazing powers firsthand.

Yet with the help of his parents, teachers and friends, Ne Zha finally changes his mind and grows up. He protects others with his superpowers in a big battle and finally breaks the curse.
