【推荐1】Once upon a time a couple of parrots lived in a huge mango tree. One morning, when the parrots went out to search for food, a snake climbed up the tree and ate some of the eggs. When the parrots came back, they were shocked to find some eggs missing.

As the days passed, the snake grew greedy (贪婪的) and he ate all the eggs. The parrots got mad and they decided to punish the snake. They didn’t have an idea, so they asked their friend, a wise fox, for advice.

The fox thought for a while, and then he came up with a good plan. He said to the parrots, “The princesses swim in the river every afternoon. The guards and servants watch over their clothes and valuable things. You can pick up a small thing, such as a necklace, an earring, or a ring and so on, and drop it into the snake’s hole.”

The next afternoon, the parrots did as the fox told them. In the end, the guards and servants reached the snake’s hole and found the earring. One of the guards took out his sword (剑) and killed the snake. The parrots were pleased and lived happily from then on.

We can learn a lesson from the story: Bad men will never have a good ending.

I will visit my uncle Joe in Fox Town. Fox Town is o clean and quite place. I will go swimming and fishing with my cousin Max. And I will also help my uncle pick grapes.

【推荐2】Do you believe that animals can be good friends with each other? For me, the answer is “yes”! I’ve had my dog, Buster, lot four years now. My neighbors gave him to me when they moved house. Then, last January. I bought a parrot named Tweety. Since then, they have been very good friends. They never fight. Tweety even likes to ride around on Buster’s back!

And have you heard the story of the tiger and the dolphin? I’ll tell you.

Shilpa is a tiger. She’s only six months old, and she was born at a zoo in San Francisco in the USA. One day, the zoo keepers were taking her around the zoo when they went past a special swimming pool. It’s a very large pool with glass walls around it, and it’s the place where the dolphins live and play. Well, they were walking past when Shilpa saw a strange animal with a long nose on the other side of the glass. Shilpa was excited, so the zoo keepers decided to introduce her to the young animal in the pool.

The animal’s name is Maverick, and he’s a dolphin. He’s only 14 months old, and he has lived in the zoo all his life. Maverick saw Shilpa and came up to the side of the glass to look at the young tiger. Shilpa sat there for a long time - just watching. Maverick put his nose against the side of the pool, and began to press against the glass. He was probably saying hello in dolphin language!

They got on really well, and now Shilpa visits Maverick every day. They have been friends since the first day they met. When Shilpa gets to the pool, Maverick is already waiting for the little tiger! In fact Maverick is sad if she’s late.

Tigers are different from normal cats. They like water, and they can swim very well. Perhaps one day they will let Shilpa swim with Maverick!
