A video has gone viral (病毒式快速传播的) on Chinese social media. It shows a deliveryman jumping off a high bridge to save a woman in Hangzhou. In the video, the man, in a black T-shirt and black pants, made the simplest preparation before jumping into the river.

“I was riding my e-bike across the bridge to deliver (派送) an order.” said 31-year-old Peng Qinglin, the deliveryman, who had received his first order of the day when he heard the call for help. Without thinking twice, Peng took off his glasses and shoes, put down his phone and jumped into the river.

“I was a little scared at first, because the bridge looked so high.” he said. “But the river was swallowing (吞没) her.” Peng added. After saving the woman, although he was very tired, the first words Peng said were his delivery was going to be late.

Luckily, the client was understanding. Although the order was finally more than 10 minutes late, he was not angry at all. What’s more, people spoke highly of him and the video about his event got more than 40,000 likes in a couple of hours.

For his bravery and kindness, the government showed that all the people were proud of him. Meanwhile, the company that Peng works for has also offered him some money and the chance (机会) to study in college for free. However, what Peng wants most is the chance to study.

“I’m just a deliveryman like many others.” Peng said, “If I meet someone in danger, I will still offer a helping hand.”

The mummies still have hair on their arms, which makes them the best-preserved mummies in the world. The explorers also found cloth, silver and gold pieces such as animals. “This was like meeting someone from the ancient past,” says Luke.

This journey was long and hard, but that did not stop Luke from climbing. “Just think of the Incas who climbed these mountains hundreds of years ago,” he says. “They lived through the same conditions.” With preparation and courage, Luke proves one thing: no mountain or goal is too big to reach!

In the beautiful country of France, there lived a beautiful woman named Mathilde. She dreamed of a rich life and always worried about not having pretty things. At the party, Mathilde shined and she was the prettiest woman there. All men wanted to know her. It seemed that her dream came true. However, this joy was short-lived. On their way home Mathilde discovered that she had lost the diamond necklace.

Being unable to find the necklace, they had to buy a new one just like the one they lost and returned it to Madame Forestier. To afford the new necklace, they borrowed a lot of money. They had to begin a life with hardship. They moved to a cheaper apartment and worked tirelessly.

Years passed, the once beautiful woman became old. One day on the street, she happened to meet Madame Forestier. Madame Forestier failed to recognize (认出) Mathilde. She was greatly surprised at her friend’s appearance. Mathilde told her about the lost of the necklace and how hard she worked to pay back the money for it. She was proud and happy.
