A doctor, a lawyer, a little boy and a priest (牧师) were out for a Sunday afternoon flight on a small plane. Suddenly, the plane had engine trouble. It started to go down. At last, the pilot took a parachute (降落伞) and shouted to the four people that they had better jump, and then he himself jumped out. Unluckily, there were only three parachutes left.
The doctor took one and said, “I’m a doctor. I save lives, so I must live.” Then he jumped out.
The lawyer then said, “I’m a lawyer, and lawyers are the smartest people in the world. I must live.” He also took a parachute and jumped out.
The priest looked at the little boy and said, “My son, I’ve lived a long and full life. You are still young. Take the last parachute and live in peace.”
The little boy handed the parachute back to the priest and said, “Don’t worry, Father. The smartest man in the world just jumped out with my backpack.”

Magdi woke up an hour later. Looking up, he saw black skies. Then he sat up and saw big waves pushing the little boat out to sea.
Two of Magdi’s friends, Malik and Ali, were playing on the beach. “Hey, Magdi! Magdi!” they shouted.” Come back! There’s a storm coming!”
“What did you say?” Magdi shouted. “A storm is coming!” Malik and Ali shouted. “Come back!”

About 25 people told me they would come. On Saturday afternoon, I went to the supermarket to buy some food and drinks. I came home at around 17:30. I was really glad my parents helped clean the house.
The first person arrived at 18:00, and the others came later. Instead of the small number of 25, 40 people came: I didn’t have enough food or drinks for them, so I had to have a party in town.
