One day, while looking through a flower, list that she often ordered from, a picture of a plant immediately caught her eyes. She had never seen a flower like it before, "I have to have it," she said to herself, and she ordered it right away.
When it arrived, she found a place to plant it. She planted it at the bottom of a stone wall at the back of the yard. It grew vigorously, with very beautiful green leaves all over it. Day after day, she continued to take good care of it, and she also looked forward to enjoying the flowers, but still there were not any.
One morning, as she stood looking at the plant, she felt sad,.”It grows well, but why don’t I see any flowers?” She wanted to know the reason why her plant had not flowered, but still there was no idea.
However, at this moment, her friendly neighbor invited her to his yard and said, “Thank you so much! You can’t imagine how much I have enjoyed the flowers that you planted.” “Did I plant? Where?” the young woman was quite surprised. Quickly she walked through the gate into her neighbor’s yard. She saw that on the other side of the wall the plant was full of flowers. She couldn’t believe her eyes.
They were, indeed, the most beautiful flowers she had ever seen. The plant had grown up through the crevices in the wall.

Reporter:
Diane: When I make a scrapbook page, I take a few of my family photos and put them into a “layout”—a page that uses fancy paper, stickers, drawings, and words to show the theme (主题). For example, this page about my son is called “First Day at School”. When you make a scrapbook, you put words and pictures together to show the important times in your life. It's like a personal history.
Reporter:
Diane: I made my first scrapbook ten years ago, when my father died. When I looked through his desk, I found the most wonderful things — like the cards my parents sent each other, and photos from his Army days. Those were such precious memories. I couldn't throw away anything, so I made two scrapbooks, for my brother and me.
Reporter:
Diane: Oh, yes! We call ourselves “scrapper”, and we love to get together. We often have “crops”, big parties where we all make our scrapbooks. We bring our scissors and papers and our boxes of photos, and we talk while working on new pages. It's time for enjoyment, when friends show pictures and tell stories about our families, and our lives. At the same time, we create a book to keep those memories.
Reporter:
Diane: I think people want to keep their family stories, and display them to other people. When you make a scrapbook, you can pass the stories to your children, and your grandchildren. So many people today want to do that! If you go online, you will find scrapbooking websites from Norway, New Zealand and South Africa. We all have boxes of pictures, and we all want to keep those precious memories. That's the real value of scrapbooking: sharing your family and your story.
Reporter:
Diane: All of our scrapbook paper design sets online are now in PDF form and they are FREE. For us to continue, we need you to do 3 things. Link to our site, & tell your friends about us! And make a donation.

Set in Japan, the film talks about a high school teenager Hodaka Morishima who makes a living on his own in Tokyo for the first time. He works for a local magazine, writing about all the things strange and supernatural but the most interesting thing happening in the unusual weather in Tokyo. It rains every day and seems never come to an end. A young girl named Hina Amano who can control the weather walks into the young man’s life.
Hina has the ability to call out the sun whenever she prays for it. Hodaka suggests that Hina should become a “sunshine girl” — someone who will clear the sky and stop the rain. Things begin looking up for them at first. However, it is common knowledge that power always comes with a heavy price ...
The film, originally titled “Tenki No Ko”, is directed by Makoto Shinkai. Born in 1973, Makoto is best known for directing “Your Name”, Japanese named as Kimi No Na Wa, a high-grossing (高票房) animated film released in 2016. The film ranked No.1 in its opening weekend and is currently the No.7 highest-earning film of all time in Japan and the highest-grossing film in Japan in 2019.
“Weathering with You” is also Japan’s submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 92nd Academy Awards (奥斯卡金像奖) — the first animated film that Japan has submitted (递交) in the category since “Mononoke Hime” in 1998.

It is a good rule because it is hard for school to resist(抵制) the temptation(诱惑) of mobile phones. Mobile phone was a distraction(分心事) to students during school hours and it also brought teachers so much trouble in class before. Sometimes students might usemobile phones to cheat during exams.
However, some parents feel unhappy because they can’t get in touch with (与……联系) their children. Many people say that they understand why these parents would want their children to have phones, but all of them think schools should let the students know when they can use their mobile phones. So in lots of schools, if a student needs to bring a phoneto school, his or her parents will have to write a statement and make sure that the phone is turned off during class. If the student breaks the rules and uses his or her phone during class, the student will be warned.
This is a reasonable rule, isn’t it? Under such a rule, students still have somefreedom(自由), and they learn how to improve self-discipline(自律能力) and live withnew technologies. So rules do not necessarily mean there will be no freedom. In my opinion, freedom is based on(以……为基础) good rules, so students should obey(遵守)the rules.
