The runners carry rubbish bags with them. They are a group of rubbish collectors who keep fit while helping clean up their surroundings (周围环境).

There are now many runners in different jobs—office workers, yoga teachers, restaurant owners and so on. The oldest is in their forties, and the youngest is just five years old.

Sogor said, “What one person can do is small, so we run together to make a better and greater influence.” She said that Trash Running has groups in many cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Changchun and Wuhan. Unlike most other Chinese trains which have open-hole toilets, this one has special toilets which can collect the waste. There is also a special rubbish system (系统) in the train that keeps the environment clean. All the windows on the train can protect people from the bright sunlight. TV and electrical sockets (插座) for computers and mobile phones can be found on the train.

7 . China is a great country with the largest population in the world. In order to solve the population problem, our government carried out one-child policy (政策) before. When it is carried out for some time, many people not only see its advantages but also disadvantages.
From 2016, two-child policy is put into effect. In my opinion, two-child policy is good. First of all, two-child policy is the gift for some only child. For some families, maybe the parents are only child and they can also have only child. Besides the loneliness of their child, when their child grows up and they grow older, their child marry an only child girl, the burden (负担) on their child and his wife is too heavy. Their child and his wife have to take care of two couples (夫妇). Usually, a young couple looking after an old couple is a little difficult. But if their parents have two children, they can share the burden of taking care of their parents. It would be much better. Secondly, two-child policy can guarantee (保证) the number of Chinese population.
All in all, one-child policy has been out of date. And two-child policy is needed and necessary. It can solve the problems of nowadays and the future.

8 . What are you going to do if you are in a burning house? How will you escape (逃走)? Do you know how to save yourself? Please read the following passage.
Escaping a fire is a serious matter. Knowing what to do during a fire can save your life. It is important to know the ways you can use and show them to everyone in the family, such as stairways and fire escapes, but not lifts.
From the lower floors of the buildings, escaping through windows is possible. You have to learn the best way of leaving by windows with the least chance of serious hurt.
The second floor window is usually not very high from the ground. It is about the height of an average man. Of course, it is safer to jump a short way than to stay in a burning building.
Windows are also useful when you are waiting for help. Be sure to keep the door closed, or smoke and fire may be drawn into the room. Keep the window open and keep your head low at the window to be sure you get fresh air rather than smoke that may leak (渗) into the room.
On a second or third floor, the best windows for escape are those that open onto a roof. From the roof a person can drop to the ground more safely. Dropping onto cement (水泥) might end in injury. Bushes (灌木丛) and grass can help to break a fall.

In order to save money, many students buy some used textbooks, and some students usually borrow textbooks from the school library.
