1 . The First Shenzhen (International) Intelligent Sanitation Cleaning Robot Competition was held at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (国际会展中心) in Baoan District in March 2024.
A total of 37 robots got awards at the competition. Four of them won first prizes, seven second prizes, ten third prizes, and the others received merit prizes.

The sweeper S330 is a highly intelligent outdoor driverless sweeper and it has a large rubbish bin. It can dump rubbish by itself when it is full. It can also clean while spraying (喷) water to control dust. This sweeper has been used in Huafu Subdistrict and Shenzhen Book City CBD Store in Futian District.
At present, Shenzhen is leading in producing and researching and developing the AI sanitation equipment. It takes up more than 30% of these companies in this area in China. Shenzhen is playing a very important role in China, and even around the world.

A dance performance The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting draw everyone’s attention. 5 . A young art teacher from China’s Shanxi Province was recently praised (赞美) online for spending about three months working on a beautiful chalk (粉笔) picture of a traditional masterpiece (杰作).
When Zhao Wenrui, an art teacher in Fanzhi County, decided to draw a chalk version of Along the River during the Qingmins Festival (《清明上河图》), he said that he just wanted to do something interesting for his students. It’s said that he has used eight blackboards side by side, five buckets (桶) of chalk and worked on it for about three months.
Along the River during the Qingming Festival, a five-meter-long picture describing the Song Dynasty capital of Kaifeng during the festival of Qingming, is sometimes called China’s Mona Lisa (《蒙娜丽莎》), and considered as one of the most important artworks in the country’s history. According to Bangalore Mirror, an Indian daily, two youths, who had thrown two packing boxes of pizza in Madiken, Karnataka, were made to travel back 80 km from Madikeri to Coorg (Kodagu) to clean up the garbage.
This happened after the General Secretary of Kodagu Tourism Association (旅游协会) found some pizza boxes thrown on the side of the road. He said “I was keeping a close watch on our station to keep it clean. When I was returning to my home on Friday, at around 2:15 p.m., I saw some pizza packing boxes thrown on the side of the road. I felt like all our work had gone in vain (徒劳). So I decided to open up the packet and luckily found a bill which had the person’s phone number. I called up the person and asked him to return and clean up the garbage.”
He went on to say, “However, the person on the phone said sorry but refused to come back as they were already out of Kodagu. So I called up the local police. They tried to ask the youths to come back, but it didn’t work either.”

7 . As we all know, Tianwen I is China’s first Mars probe (探测器). It was named after a poem called Quest for Heavenly Truth by Qu Yuan, a great poet during the Warring States Period.

8 . Xie Xiaohua is a special education teacher. She has won the hearts of hundreds of children and is called Mum Xiaohua by many of them.
