I was riding in a taxi to the bus station but from there I was supposed to taking a bus to New York City. It was going to be long journey. I had been packed some chocolates in my suitcase to eat in the way. When the ride was over, I paid the driver the due amount and gave him a tip. He got my suitcase out. I took them and started walking away. However, I realized that it was one of the opportunity to perform an act of kindness. I want to give away all the chocolates to the driver. After all, he had served me even though it was just his job. I gave them away and saw the brightly smile light up his face, what made me feel my heart filled with happiness.
My trip to Beijing is forgettable because the scenery is fantastic.We started at 7 Saturday morning.We took a bus there unless public transport is much convenient.
The most excited thing was to tour around the Kunming Lake on a beautiful dragon boat，when we spent about two hours chatting and laughing in the bright sunshine.When we climbed onto the top of the Tower of the Buddhist Incense, a wonderful view of the lake came into your sight.After lunch we walked on the 17Arch Bridge，visiting the Stone Archway and took many wonderful picture.

Last summer my dream of visiting Chicago came true. I took trip there on my own, what got me thinking about the advantages of travelling alone. Something that I noticed immediately was the fact that I had the free to do what I wanted. After all, I don’t have to consider another person’s interest. While in Chicago, I got involving in a couple of workshops. During these workshops, we got the chance to talk with the local people. Days late, I went to the theatre alone and found myself having a conversation about travel with the lady sit beside me. To be honest, these conversations wouldn’t have been happened if I had travelled without a friend.

There is no denying that mobile phones are playing an increasing important role in our daily life. However, the phenomenon people are too addicted to their mobile phones is becoming more and more popular. Mobile phone addicts can’t help check their mobile phones all day, even when they are walking on the road. To a result, their communication with people around them become less and less. Besides, their healthy is greatly affected. Many are suffered from neck pains, for example.
In my opinion, it is time we throw away our mobile phones and raised our heads up. We should spend less time communicating with our family and friends face to face.
The day, May 16th, is my younger brother’s birthday. This afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown, and buy a present for him. Then I took the subway train to home. Seating on the train, I thought my brother would be very happy when he saw a present. At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bag got on the train and stood in front of me. She looked tiring. I hesitated for a moment, but then offered my seat to him. The old lady thanked me a lot and sat down. Seeing her smile, I felt happily. I will always ready to help others in the future.
On our way to the bookstore, I noticed a group of people surrounded two anxious foreigners. I stopped and found that they were tourist from Canada who careless left a very important wallet in a taxi. I accompanied them to the nearest police station and without their help, we got in touch with the taxi company. We told a moment ago a driver had just turned in a wallet and then a policeman drive us to the company without delay. The two Canadians happily claimed their wallet, that contained their passports, flight tickets, some cash or credit cards. They expressed our thanks to me. I feel it is really a great pleasure to help the others.
This morning, I go to the store near my home to do some shopping.
I was walking down the passage while I gave a violent cough. The woman standing next to me was so shocking that she consequently dropped a jar of oil. For that very moment, a girl was walking by. She slipped on the oil, fell onto the broke glass and hit her head on the floor. After a while, there were blood pour down her face. I felt really guilty and sent the girl to the nearest hospital without the delay. The doctor examined her wound carefully. To my relief, it was not serious. The girl had a little smile on her face before the doctor dressed wound.

At the age of twelve, I get a nice bike as a birthday gift. So excited was I that I couldn’t wait to try my hand at riding it. Besides, it was harder than expecting. The bike seemed too heavy for me to control and I fell off the bike over and over again. I was about to give up while my father came and encouraged me to keep going. With more practice, I found me doing better and better. Looking back, I feel I would not be able to ride bike if I had lost my heart.
Honest speaking, we can’t avoid failing. What matters most is that we should stick to it.
The American TV show The Voice is one of my most favorite amusement shows. In one hand, I can listen to different styles of music. On the other hand, I can see the singers’ stories, who are so inspiring. I was so impressed by a musical boy who was from the country. If he was very young, he loved to sing while doing the farm work. After work. he learned to play guitar. He liked living on the farm, for the life was simple. The boy brought his guitar to the stage, worn a fashionable hat which made him seem so mysteriously. When the boy sing a song with his guitar, all the judge were astonished by his talent. As a result, he won the game but finally became famous throughout the country.
Smart phones had become part of our daily life. No matter who we are, we can see people busy play with their smart phones. Smart phones benefit them. They help us escape the pressure of life and get informations. However, if we spend too much time on them, we won’t have time to contact face to face our friends or family. And our life, study and work will hurt. In my view, we should limit to our using smart phones except for a purpose of learning. Meanwhile, it’s absolute necessary for us to take part in more outdoors activities.
