1 . Years ago I began to learn to drive in a driving training center. It was many miles away from where I _________, you know. 3 . In a small village there lived a lazy Brahmin Ramdas. He would do _____ but daydream whole day.

“Oh no, it isn’t” said David. “It’s full of love, my mum told me before she died that love was something you couldn’t see or touch unless you know it’s there.”

Tears filled my eyes ______ I looked at the proud dirty face that I had rarely given _____to. After that Christmas, David and I became good friends and I never forgot the meaning ______ the little empty box set on my desk.

5 . The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall was the part of the Great Wall I liked to visit. _______, one day in May 2000, I chose something wilder, more _______: Simatai. This section of the Great Wall has far fewer visitors than most other sections of the wall.

At the entrance to Simatai was a group of vendors (小贩) trying to _______ postcards. One tiny old lady seemed to _______ me wherever I went, and I was becoming increasingly _______. “How many times does it take for ‘No!' to sink in?” I thought. I finally ended up running away just to   _______ this tiny woman.
