4 . Become a Volunteer for Los Angeles Animal Services
Thank you for your interest in our volunteer team! We are looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of abandoned animals in our care.
We need friendly, outgoing and personable volunteers to assist the public and work with the staff in our animal shelters and at on-site and off-site adoption events.
Our dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals are in need of care, attention, walking, playing, socialization and engaging with people. You may choose to work with any or all of our animal populations.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with other important roles such as adoptions, greeting customers, photography, videography, playgroups, humane education, public relations and some office tasks.
Volunteer opportunities are available during our business hours. Tuesday to Saturday: 8: 00 am to 5:00 pm. Sunday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Shelters are closed on Mondays and on holidays.

7 . Movies Released in November
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
It’s prequel (前传) time again. In December, we’ll get to see the founding of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory in Wonka, but first there’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Based on the dystopian YA novel by Suzanne Collins, the prequel is set 64 years before the previous Hunger Games films.

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel returns to save the planet from evil aliens, but her job is made considerably harder this time by a big problem that links her to two other superheroines (超级女英雄). Wish
Walt Disney celebrates its 100th anniversary with a cartoon that shows the themes and animation styles of the studio’s first century. Wish is a musical fairy tale set in a magical land where King Magnifico (Chris Pine) can satisfy his citizens’ wishes. But a 17-year-old girl, Asha (Ariana DeBose) , questions whether the king should keep that power all to himself. She wishes on a star -and the star then falls from the sky to help her.

9 . Four European Festivals You Don’t Want to Miss in 2023
Chelsea Flower Show, London
Also known as the “Great Spring Show”, the Chelsea Flower Show is a wonderful showcase of garden designs and flower displays (展览). Many gardeners come to London from around the world for the five-day event. St Patrick’s Day, Ireland
