As an ancient country, China has various festivals.
The Spring FestivalIn the evening before the Spring Festival, families get together and have a big meal. Children also get lucky money from parents.
The Lantern FestivalDuring this festival, there is special food called “tang yuan”, which is said to symbolize both the first full moon and family unity and completeness. Part of the Lantern Festival tradition involves a game to guess riddles (谜语) attached to the lanterns.
Stilt walking, drumming and the dragon and lion dance are the main entertainment forms of the Lantern Festival.
The Dragon Boat FestivalIt is to celebrate the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, a loyal and highly respected minister, who brought peace and prosperity (繁荣) to the state but ended up drowning himself in a river as a result of being vilified (诽谤).
The Double Seventh FestivalOn the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, there is a traditional festival full of romance. Recently the youth have celebrated it as Valentine’s Day in China.
The Mid-Autumn FestivalIt is a traditional festival for both the Han and minority nationalities in China.The custom of worshipping (礼拜) the moon can be dated back to the ancient Xia and Shang dynasties. The Mid-Autumn Festival is also a holiday for members of a family to get together.
The Double Ninth FestivalOn the ninth day of the ninth month in the Chinese lunar calendar, people celebrate the Double Ninth Festival. People usually climb mountains and eat double-ninth cakes, which means our life will become better and better.

Parking Host
The responsibility of a parking host is to help guests properly park their vehicles (交通工具), informing guests of parking steps and answering questions. You must be at least 18 years of age. A driver’s license (执照) is required. It’s necessary to have a team player attitude and be able to work with people of diverse cultures. The ability to work with different groups of people in a calm and professional manner is also a must.
Child Care Provider
Previous child care experience is preferred. You should provide quality child care, by meeting the needs of various age groups and guest demands in a positive way. Show positive communication skills, and offer children funny activities. Climb stairs to work space and work at a desk or computer work station for one or two hours.
Ski InstructorTeach ski lessons to guests with the specific focus on students’ goals while emphasizing (强调) safety, fun and learning. You should be able to ski or snowboard. Great customer service skills and good adaptability are required. In particular, unlike the two positions above, you must work during the Christmas week.

4 . International Language Camps
International Language Camps (ILC) provides fun language and activity-based summer and winter camps for children and teenagers aged 7-17 from around the world.
We offer holidays and vacations with a large number of activities and a complete French/ English language teaching program, all in the heart of the French Alps. Students can choose to stay for 1-6 weeks.
Our summer and winter camps take place in Megève, a French ski resort (滑雪胜地). It is situated in the foothills of the Mount Blanc massif (山峦), close to Chamonix and the Mount Blanc Tunnel, which is the gateway to Italy and the Aosta Valley. The nearest international airport is Geneva which is only 75 km away.
Our campers have the chance to study a foreign language with a multilingual (多种语言的) team from all over the world. As well as French/ English language classes, students can also take part in all sorts of sports including mountaineering, water sports, skiing, ice-skating and more.
Our campers can communicate with many young guys in a multicultural background, which naturally leads to the respect of others.
One of ILC’s purposes is to help our campers build confidence and discover their inner strengths.
