1 . Welcome to the State Park, where fun, fitness, and education come together!
Don’t miss our new summer classes, which are available during May 23—Aug 5!
● Swimming lessons: Age 4 – adult. Cost: $5 per class or $15 for one month.
● Hiking: Have a park keeper hike with you through our paths and teach you about the park’s wildlife and plants. The park is a perfect spot for hiking.
● Soccer: Our youth soccer program is unusual and non-competitive. Different teams are formed every day. The focus is on each player learning to work as a team, not on one team winning it at all.
● Boating: These classes are only for 20-year-olds and above. Fishing is only allowed with a permit.
● Bicycling: We have special paths built for bicyclists. Signs are posted for self-guided tours of our park.
Group cycling is also available with a park guide. Paths range from easy to challenging.
A message from the director:
Hiking paths! Sports fields! Playgrounds! Campgrounds! Fun activities! The State Park offers something for everyone. We have a number of plants and animals, which are in danger of dying out, being protected in our park. Sign up for one of our new summer community classes, or take a camping trip with your friends or family. All the facilities here are set up with modern systems, so you don’t have to struggle while enjoying yourself—unless you want to!

Paris may be called The City of Light, but every December, light takes center stage in Lyon, France’s third-largest city. The city is also home to two Christmas markets (one in La Croix-Rousse; the other at the Place Carnot; through December 25).
Lima, Peru
Peru’s capital Lima is home to the world’s highest number of cooking schools per person. Aside from its delicate dining, the city also has great cocktail bars where you can taste classic or contemporary takes on the Pisco Sour.Combine that with the oceanfront setting and temperatures in the 80s, and you’ll understand why Lima should no longer be ignored this winter.
Vermont, US
Winter in Vermont means skiing and snowboarding, Many resorts (度假胜地)have greatly upgraded their snowmaking abilities as part of a $15 million statewide program that replaced many outdated snow guns with new, low-energy models. These new machines will also improve the quality of snow surfaces and lengthen the season, meaning this will be one of the best winters for skiing and riding in Vermont in recent memory.

Take a two-week trip that you will never forget as a volunteer with sharks on a beautiful stretch of South Africa’s coastline. Head out to sea to witness one of the world’s most powerful (and most misunderstood) creatures on this inspiring project, enjoying watching them from both above and below water.
The DAY-BY-DAY schedule
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town on a Sunday. You will be collected from the airport and spend your first night in a guest house in the city centre.
Day 2: You will be collected bright and early from the guest house and taken down to the project. The drive takes about 90 minutes. You will receive a welcome and head out to sea to witness your first sharks!
Day 3+: Most days you will be out on the boat with the sharks, depending on weather. Help out with the full range of tasks on the boats, and in conservation initiatives on land too.
Last day: On the final day of your project you will be taken back to Cape Town for your onward travel.
The price is £829,including the voluntary work programme with accommodations, airport transfers, one night in a guest house in Cape Town, breakfasts daily and lunches when on the boats. Your trip can be extended at a cost of £ 375 per week.
It is an amazing experience! Some volunteers planned to stay for 4 weeks, extended to 6 weeks and still didn’t want to come home. If you’d like to chat about this holiday or need help, we’re very happy to help.

6 . The Orchard
I had a very nice meal at the Orchard restaurant. The food was lovely and the service was quite good.We chose to eat in the garden which was full of beautiful flowers and very relaxing. The only disappointment was the dessert — the apple pie was far too sweet and it was cold too.Apart from that it was an enjoyable evening. As for the price — what a bargain, excellent value for money!
Park Inn
The best thing about Park Inn was the service — it was excellent. There was a warm welcome when we arrived and the waiters were very helpful all evening. However, the food wasn’t as good. The menu looked interesting but the meals were rather tasteless. It’s not a cheap restaurant and I wasn’t happy to pay so much for boring food.
Richard’s Place
When we entered the restaurant,we were surprised by the lovely interior (内部的) design of it.So stylish,so modern! This is one of the most popular restaurants in town and it’s very easy to see why.The food was great and excellent value for money but it was ruined by very, very poor service!
The Riverside
It was lovely sitting outside and looking over the river. There were lots of little lanterns (灯笼) and colored lights everywhere and it all looked very pretty. The food was good, nothing very special but quite tasty. The service was OK; we didn’t have to wait too long for our food but the waiter never looked very happy! It’s quite an expensive place but with the view I think it’s quite good value for money.
