Whitney Museum of American ArtOpened in 2015, the current building was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano, the brains behind Paris’ Centre Pompidou and The Shard in London. With the whole view of New York City, the building makes a fitting home for one of the world’s most extensive and imaginative holdings of American art. The museum of 25,000 works was built around the personal collection of its founder, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, whose initial 600 pieces included works by realist painter Edward Hopper. Today the institution is famed for displaying works by living artists, anchored by its signature exhibition the Whitney Biennial.
Guggenheim MuseumThe museum’s twirling (旋转的) white building is a masterpiece in itself. It was designed in 1943 by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of America’s most celebrated architects. The exhibitions are world-class, too. The permanent collection has amounted to some 8,000 pieces, with everything from bronze sculptures by French Impressionist artist Edgar Degas to pieces by key figures such as Lawrence Weiner, a conceptual artist in the 1960s.

4 . Save A Dog, Inc. is a Massachusetts-based humane society. We take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, and shapes who have become homeless for one reason or another. We work with animal shelters in MA as well as out of state. We try to make the best match for applicant and dog.
To date we have rescued and adopted over 8, 000 dogs. We offer education to our adopters on how to use natural supplements and a good quality food to care for the new dog or pup. We offer on-site puppy kindergarten classes for our adopters during the months when the weather is favorable. We send our rescued dogs home with an adoption contract that ensures the dog will never again end up in a shelter again. We advocate positive reinforcement (强化) training for dogs at home.
We charge an adoption fee. Our adoption fees vary. For senior dogs (9 years and older), the adoption donation ranges from $150 to $350. For adult dogs (older than 1 year) the donation is $450. Adolescent dogs range from $450-500, and the donation for puppies is $600. We are a 501c3 organization privately funded by donations and the adoption fees. We are always very grateful if you can add a little extra donation to help us continue our rescue work.

7 . Overseas Learning Programs for Students
The Somerset Yew Wah Classroom, UK, offers a distinctive English language and life education program tailored for Grade 6, Grade 8, and Grade 10 students. Established in 2006, the Somerset English learning and cultural center provides students with an authentic English environment experience. Located in a traditional English village in Somerset, Sibley’s Barn and the Knowle Hall campus offer students a unique setting for learning. The Knowle Hall campus, a newly renovated Victorian-era country house built on 15 acres of land in beautiful open parkland, was established in 2016. World Classroom
The World Classroom program is an extension of the project-based learning approach at the core of the Yew Wah educational model. 8 . Google Flights reveals new feature to help travelers save money
Regular users of Google Flights might notice a new feature the next time they go to the site to check out airline schedules and compare flight prices.
The new feature officially announced on Monday morning in a news release is Google guidance on the cheapest time to book a flight, which adds price tracking alerts and a price guarantee option already in place.
Cheapest time to book: Google Flights said starting this week, searches that have reliable trend data will let users see in what time frame prices have typically been lowest. Users can then better decide whether to book now or later, Google said in the release.
Take flights from New York to Miami, for example, the cheapest time to book is usually from Sep 13 to Dec 7. Prices during this time are $59 cheaper on average.
Price tracking: Users who want to wait for lower fares before booking can use a price tracking feature that “can do most of the heavy lifting for you,” Google said.
Price guarantee: On some flight results, users might notice a price guarantee badge (标志) pop up (this won’t happen on every use). If you book one of these flights, Google said it will monitor the price every day before takeoff.
“If the price does go down, we’ll pay you back the difference via Google Pay. These price guarantees are part of a pilot program available for select Book on Google itineraries (行程) departing from the U. S.,” Google said in the release.

Fokos Bay

Mersini Beach
