Experience China, a popular week-long holiday program, took place online for the first time starting   Monday. Visitors to Britain are sometimes surprised to learn that newspapers there have such a large circulation(发行量), of     1    the “Daily Mirror” and the “Daily Express” sell about four million copies every day. Typically, children develop the accent of the community around them. Invisible People

If you have the time, check out an amazing YouTube channel that I recently found     1     （call）"invisible people". It's a channel with     2     （hundred）of interviews of homeless people     3     share their story and how they survive day to day.

The man who operates the channel     4     （be）formerly homeless and has devoted his life to helping     5     homeless, The name "invisible people" certainly suits the channel well. Occasionally, someone who watches the videos posted on that channel is near one of the people interviewed and is able     9     （help）in some way. Some of the videos are truly heart-breaking but it's important to see what people go through. We can't turn a blind eye or treat them as if they're invisible. We cannot behave as it's been said, "Worship a homeless man on Sunday, and then ignore a homeless man     10     Monday."

When we make news we use primary and secondary sources. We can see this most clearly     1    TV programmes. As we watch the news on TV, the person     2    ( present ) the programme in the studio is the secondary source ( because he tells us about the news )     3     the reporter in Iraq or Washington is the primary source ( because he is telling us about what is     4    ( actual ) happening there ). Without these reporters acting as primary sources, you would never find out what really     5    ( happen) in a war, earthquake, sports meeting, concert or festival. These reporters explain what is happening so we have a clearer idea of what     6     ( go ) on there. They often take     7    ( photographer ) with them who act as primary source by giving pictures of events.

In a newspaper the position is     8     ( difference ) because these two roles are often combined. This means a reporter who investigates a story may be the same person who writes it. The Palace Museum,     1     is also known as the Forbidden City, is a much-visited and much-photographed tourist attraction. This Chinese palace     2     a history of about 600 years receives millions of visits every year and lots of TV programs     3     (show) the place in recent years.

“Du Fu: China’s Greatest Poet”, a 58-minute film released recently on BBC introduces Du Fu to the Western world for the first time     1     the form of documentary. The documentary invited a well-known British actor Ian McKellen,     3     played Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings movies,     4     (read) 15 of Du’s poems that have been translated into English.

Born in 712, Du Fu lived through the violent fall of China’s brilliant Tang Dynasty. He had the desire to serve his country, but his life     5     (destroy) by the An Lushan Rebellion of 755.
