Can one week make a difference in the life of a child? Absolutely! iCan Bike Camp is coming to Kenmore Middle School from August 1-5. As a volunteer with iCan Bike, you can help a child with a disability learn to ride a two-wheeler independently in only five days!
Adapted Swimming
This is a swim program for individuals aged 3 to adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed to assist one on one with the participants in the water. The next session begins on Sunday, July 10.
Visual Arts Volunteers
Creative volunteers can lead visual arts projects at recreation and community centers. Volunteers will work with Community Arts staff to develop and help a variety of art activities.
Remove Invasive Plants
Join your neighbors one day every month as they restore the area’s natural plant communities. Help remove plants like English ivy and bush honeysuckle which threaten the health of Arlington’s parks and natural areas. This outdoor activity is great for groups, families and individuals.
