Basketball Club
Students will be able to develop their basketball skills further and have the opportunity to compete in basketball games with members from other international schools in Beijing. The club will be available to 10-16 members from Grades 5 to 8, and will practice twice weekly.
Public Speaking Club
The Public Speaking Club will be centered around the personal development of students along with developing public speaking skills. The club will be interested in focusing on all skills in delivering better speeches and improving communication skills. Yoga Club
Yoga not only improves balance, flexibility, and joint stability, but also serves as a peaceful escape from the stress of daily life. Media Club
The Media Club teaches students the basics of journalism. The Rhodes Scholarship

Commonwealth Scholarships

Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship

9 . London Canal Museum
Opening Hours
The museum is open from 10:00 to 16:30 from Tuesdays to Sundays all the year round. We close for just a few days over Christmas and New Year. Besides, we are open on bank holiday Mondays and on the first Thursday of each month we open late until 19:30. The last time to enter the museum is 30 minutes before closing time.
Christmas/New Year 2016 ~ 2017: We are open as usual to 23rd December, closed on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 31st December, 2016. We are open on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th December and on Sunday 1st January, 2017.

10 . Competition Judges Needed
Anyone with relevant knowledge or skills is encouraged to sign up to judge Sigma Xi’s Student Research Showcase (SRS), an online science communication competition in which students compete for awards and recognition of outstanding virtual research presentations. The competition is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and most worldwide research disciplines (学科) are represented across the following categories.
• agriculture, soil, and natural resources
• cell biology and biochemistry
• human behavioral and social sciences
• math and computer science
• physics and astronomy
Information for Judges
Professional researchers and science communicators from the above-listed disciplines are needed to evaluate and interact with contestants by posting comments and questions on presentation websites. Each judge assesses up to 10 websites where students submit their presentations containing mainly a research abstract and a slide presentation. Sigma Xi membership is preferred, but not required, to judge. Judging takes place from April 26 to May 10, 2022, allowing flexibility with each judge’s personal schedule as no travel is required.

General visitors to the presentation websites can also watch the personal videos of the presenters and vote for the People’s Choice Award winner, who will receive a prize money of up to $ 250.
