1 . Every year, young, talented, and ambitious nature conservationists from all over the world participate in the presentation of the Future For Nature (FFN) Award, an honorable international award.
The Future For Nature aims to:
• Reward and fund individuals for their outstanding efforts in the protection of species of wildlife.
• Encourage winners to sustain their dedicated work.
·• Help winners to raise their profiles, extend their professional network and strengthen their funding basis.
Benefits
• The winners each receive 50,000 euros and may make their own decision to spend the money in the service of nature conservation.
• FFN offers the winners a platform and brings their stories to the attention of conservationists, financiers and a wide audience, allowing them to increase their impact and gain more access to funds.
• FFN is building a growing family of winners, dedicated people who form a community of people with the same interest. FFN offers them the opportunity to meet each other and continue to learn with each other in order to continue their fight for nature as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Qualifications
The candidate (候选人):
• Must be born on or after the 31st May 1988 and before the 28th of August 2005.
• Is able to explain his/her conservation work in fluent English (written and spoken)
• Has achieved substantial and long-term benefits to the conservation status of one or more animal or plant species.
• Must be determined to continue his/her conservation work, as the Award aims to stimulate the winner’s future work. It is not an “end of career” prize.
Additional Remarks
For the 2024 Future For Future Awards, we are again searching for natural leaders, who have proven that they can make a difference in species’ survival.
From all applications, 6 to 10 nominees (被提名者) will be selected. These applicants will be asked to provide additional information, which will be used to select the final Awardees. Ultimately, three inspiring wildlife heroes are selected as the winners.

One-day adventure (冒险) course
This is a chance you have been waiting for. Come and try sailing, climbing and surfing (冲浪). This course is trying to introduce outdoor activities to adults in a fun way. You do not need to be very fit or to have had experience of the activities. All you need is to be interested.
Play Park
The Play Park is suitable for children from 2 to 10 years of age. It is one of the best of its type in the country. It has sand and water play, large ball pool, play castle and much, much more.
Group day and weekend courses
We also offer day and long weekend courses for groups. We receive regular visits from schools and colleges There are three large rooms with twelve beds in each, which can be booked beforehand for groups of up to 36 people (12 at least).
Summer adventure holiday (for 8—14 years of age)
Safety is of great importance at the Outdoor Centre. All our workers are fully trained in first aid (急救) , and able to teach the activities on offer. We also make certain that all children only take part in activities that are suitable for their age and physical abilities. For this programme children must be able to swim 25 metres and be in good physical health.

5 . Women’s Poetry Competition 2024
Welcome to Mslexia, the only magazine where every reader is a potential contributor too. Almost every part of the magazine is open to submission by any woman writer. Our competition is open to unpublished poems of any length. Your £10 entry fee allows you to submit up to three poems. The judge this year is the outstanding and award-winning writer Pascale Petit.
Prizes
1st: £2,000; 2nd: £500; 3rd: £250 (Each prize goes for one person.)
Unpublished Poetry Prize for the best poem by a previously unknown poet: £250.
The four winners, plus sixteen additional finalists will have their poems published in the May issue of Mslexia.

6 . Movies Released in November
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
It’s prequel (前传) time again. In December, we’ll get to see the founding of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory in Wonka, but first there’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Based on the dystopian YA novel by Suzanne Collins, the prequel is set 64 years before the previous Hunger Games films.

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel returns to save the planet from evil aliens, but her job is made considerably harder this time by a big problem that links her to two other superheroines (超级女英雄). Every time she uses her superpowers, she exchanges places with either Photon (Teyonah Parris) or Ms Marvel (Iman Vellani). The worlds we go to in this movie are worlds unlike others you’ve seen in the MCU.

Wish
Walt Disney celebrates its 100th anniversary with a cartoon that shows the themes and animation styles of the studio’s first century. Wish is a musical fairy tale set in a magical land where King Magnifico (Chris Pine) can satisfy his citizens’ wishes. But a 17-year-old girl, Asha (Ariana DeBose) , questions whether the king should keep that power all to himself. She wishes on a star -and the star then falls from the sky to help her.

Ridley Scott’s 28th film tells the story of Napoleon Bonaparte, a famous person in French history. It’s reported to be three hours long, with six major battle sequences — although it’s as much a character-driven drama as it is a war movie.

7 . Here is a great way for you to explore the beautiful countryside and colorful Chinese minority culture of southeast Guizhou during three days. With this 3-day Guizhou tour, you can appreciate the amazing wooden architecture of the Dong ethnic minority, discover a mysterious branch of the Miao ethnic minority, hike among the terraced fields, dress up in the traditional dress of the Dong people, and try their special tasty food. Here is a suggested plan of a journey.
DAY 1 Arrive in Zhaoxing Dong Village
Meet your personal guide at Congjiang train station. Drive to Zhaoxing Dong Village (about 10 minutes). Explore beautiful Zhaoxing Village in the afternoon. Your guide will walk around with you, explaining the style of the Dong wooden buildings, local customs, and the Dong people’s lifestyle. And the Dong people’s dancing and singing evening show is very enjoyable.
DAY 2 Zhaoxing Rice Terraced Fields Hike and Villages
Drive to Huanggang Dong Village in the morning. On the way, you will stop to hike around the terraced fields. Enjoy great views of the rice terraces and the villages on the mountain slopes (山坡).
Explore peaceful Huanggang Village and Zhanli Village, where you will see more of the authentic culture of the Dong.
Visit Biasha Miao village in the afternoon. Enjoy their traditional dancing and their ceremony with guns.
DAY 3 Zhaoxing Departure (离开)
Visit a batik (蜡染) workshop in the morning. Learn and experience making batik in the Dong style. Make a unique souvenir on your own (with guidance).
