There are many respectable people around us. As for me, Marie Curie was the person I respect most. It is general acknowledged that Marie Curie is one of the greatest scientist in the world. Her discoveries are crucial to the later scientific research.
Marie Curie was interesting in science when she was young. After she graduated from university, she committed himself to her work with the objective of serve the whole society. Marie and her husband found the element radium, for that they were awarded the Nobel Prize. Not only was Marie the first female professor at the University of Paris, but she was also the first scientist win two Nobel Prizes in the world.
Madam Curie was intelligent, brave, strong-willed but never gave up. To sum up, she is a person I respect her most.

Tu Youyou, a famous female chemist and scientist, was been born in Zhejiang Province in 1930.
In 1951, she was admitted by Beijing University, majoring in making medicine and graduating in 1955. Since then, she has been devoted to study traditional Chinese medicine and modern western medicine. In 1972, she succeeded in discovering and developing Qinghaosu out of a Chinese herb cure those patients of malaria, for what she won many big awards. She is awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine on October 5th, 2015, becoming the first Chinese women scientist to win the Nobel Prize.
All of us Chinese are proudly of her and her achievements. She has indeed set the excellent example to us students.

Seeing there were so many farmers struggled to feed themselves, the scientist decide to devote his life to helping keep the world free of hunger. Since then, he has been leading happy life, though many people can’t understand his behavior.
He always works on the farm, chatting with the farmer, which it can account of his sunburnt face. He as well as his team was awarding many honors. Besides, they are not satisfying with the present achievements. They hold the belief which the more they devote, the few pepole go hungry.

The man inspiring me most is Qian Xuesen, who is known for the father of China’s space technology and died at age of 98 in 2009.
After graduate from university in 1934, Qian went to the US for further education. After the PRC was found, he returned back to China to help develop China’s national defense. He gave all their life to China’s aerospace science and technology and make great achievements. He set up China’s first missile-and-rocket research institute, that later helped start China’s space program.
There is no doubtful that he will be remembered by the Chinese forever for his great contribute.

As we all know, the father of hybrid rice---Yuan Longping cultivated hybrid rice and fed millions of people all over world. He was one of the greatest scientist in China. Unluckily, he pass away at the age of 91,in May 22,2021.However,her dream will always inspire many people. His dream was that he could enjoy the shade under the hybrid rice. There is no doubt that dream is very much important. As for myself, I would like to become a usefully person like Yuan Longping which did valuable contribution. What I can do is that I will study hardly and learn more knowledge. I hope I can achieve my dream one day but I will never give up my dream no matter how difficult it is.
