Last Friday my mom decided to color his hair. She studied with all the hair products at the drugstore. The color she choose came in a box which had a picture of a woman that hair color looked just perfect. Mom was sure same color would look great on her. We all know that cycling is a greatly exercise. A doctor tells me people who lives the longest are dancers and cyclists. I love doing housework. I always assist my parents in doing the dish after meals. I also water the flowers in the yard and tidying up my own bedroom whatever necessary. In my opinion, students can benefit a lot doing some housework. Firstly, doing housework was helpful for us to be a responsible person. Also, it gives our parents more time to do what they are like and it improves the family relationship. What’s most, doing housework can be a form of mentally relaxation from study. Since I was a kid, I’ve considered different job I would like to do. First, I wanted to be a fireman, whose uniform looked so coolly. Then, when I was in the five grade, I wanted to be a teacher because I liked my English teacher too much. When I studied chemistry high school, I reconsidered my goal or decided to be a doctor. Last Saturday, I took part in an English speech competition hold by our school. I was really excited about it. When it was my turn, I walked onto the stage. I felt nervously and frightened with such large a crowd looking at me! I was about to give up as I saw my family members seated there. I regained belief in me at once. I was announced as one of the second-prize winner and all my family take great pride in me for my success.
I am glad to have participated in contest. I learnt a lot of from this experience. I improved my English speaking skills. I also learnt what to face people bravely and confidently.
One summer day, my father and I was walking our dog through our neighborhood. Half an hour later on, our dog became thirsty. We have to cut our walk short to go home and get it a drink. That's when we got the idea to build the water station in our front yard for the neighborhood dogs to using. My father set out a low table with a few bowl of water and some dog food. We made a sign inviting passers-by and their dogs drop by anytime they needed. Folks have come by to thank them. Some have left notes of appreciate. It’s been an ideally way to feel more connected to our neighbors.
