Pompeii was a typical Roman city     1     people could see a model of the whole Roman empire. It is believed that the city was founded in the 7th or 6th century BC. Each day, the streets were filled     2     the sounds of busy shops and customers enjoying the city’s cafes. The rocks of Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii warned people of the possible     3     (erupt).
