My parents and I decided to visit Hong Kong for our holidays in last summer. I was very happy because I looked forward to go there for a long time. Hong Kong, which is coastal city in China, impressed me with its high building. The sky was blue and the air was fresh, which were that relaxed me. I enjoy taking a walk along the beach while my mother liked reading her book, laying on her chair. I also liked surfing in the sea with my father, who tried hardly to keep her balance. How excited the experience was!

Today, my family and I went hiking in the mountain where is rich in wildlife. We had a great time explored the beautiful scenery. We set out early in the morning, full equipped with snacks and water. During the climb, we watch the wildlife and took many photo. Besides, we have had a picnic lunch at the top of the mountain and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
Personally, I felt a great sense of satisfaction after succeeding reaching the top. Though tiring, I considered them worth my time. Spending time with family in nature brought us much close to each other.

In 2018, I spend my summer vacation alone. I didn’t have too many money, so I could not undertake costly travel. Instead of, I went backpacking. Then I found an helpful app. As soon as I arrived somewhere, I would have more than one places to stay. At last, I chose stay with a local family. I made friends with whom I met along the way. I, together with my friend, went to Mount Tai by bus on last weekend. The scenery were beautiful beyond description and the weather was excellent that day, that made me smile from time to time. The path was crowded with visitors, who laughed and pause to enjoy the views frequently. It took us more than four hour to reach the summit. And that’s exhausted. Honestly speaking, we were much too tired so we didn’t give up. Through this unforgettable activity I realize that they should take more exercise and relax on weekends. What is more, we should try our best improve our awareness of environmental protection to make our environment better. By do so we can live in harmony with nature.

Although it was autumn, it was snowing in Tibet. It was such cold that our legs felt like blocks of ice. On the afternoon, we found that our water bottles froze because cold weather. But we still enjoyed us during the journey. At one point, we were surprising to find ourselves cycling through clouds. In the valleys colorful butterflies fly around us. It was a great fun to cycle down the hills as it gradual became much warmer. But we had to change our warm coats for T–shirt and shorts.

I have watched a plenty of documentaries about Shanghai and I had been dying to go there. If I have a chance to go sightseeing there, I’ll make a detailed plan based on my knowledge about the city. I’ll walk along the Bund, which I can see many western-style buildings. For lunch, we would like to eat some delicious snack in Yu Garden. After lunch, I plan to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which is the seventh high tower in the world. Besides, I will also climb to the top of that tower to have a view of the whole modernly city. Only by this way can I have better understanding of it. I hope my wish to visit Shanghai will be realizing this year.

When I was a little boy, I was always hoping to visit Tian’anmen Square. My dream finally comes true last summer vacation. Although there was a shower, but the rain stopped soon and the sun came out quickly. More and more people came to the square to breathing the cool and fresh air. Suddenly some people shouted excited. I noticed much of them were looking up into the sky. I did same and saw a beautiful rainbow, what was like a seven-colored bridge, hanging in the sky. See a symbol of good fortune during my visit to my favorite place, I felt very pleasing. The unforgettable experience will always stay in our mind.

Last year, my parents as well as I paid a visit Qufu, Confucius’ hometown by car. It was a fascinating city with the history of more than five thousand year. Honest speaking, it is an important birthplace of oriental culture. The location of the city is very good and the surrounded landscape is also very charming. Thank to Confucius, crowds of people are eager to visiting Qufu. Qufu’s custom is simple and its people are generous but enthusiastic. We have enjoyed various buildings there and listened to the guide carefully. The journey left a deep impression on us, that has broadened my knowledge.

Last Sunday, mine parents and I climbed Mountain Tai to see the sunrise. At 4:30 on the morning we were already on the top, wait for the sun to rise. At first, a ray of sunshine appeared in the east, and then it became bright and brighter. Sudden, the sun sprang out, looking like a large ball, and the sky in the east became red. Later, the sun was blocking by a piece of cloud. When it appeared again, and the sun changed from red to bright red, and then to golden. As it rose, it became silvery white and shone out. The sun was so bright that we couldn’t looked at it directly. At that time, whole mountain was in the golden sunlights.

People always say that us lack the eyes of realizing the beauty in life. I can’t agree completely. I woke up very early and decided to take a walk on last Friday. In the square where much senior citizens were dancing, I find several elders absorbed in feeding birds. Without many cars producing smog on the street, I realized that the city was such clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorated pretty well, which used to be old but out of style. On all sides of the street were big trees covering the whole city, making it comfortable to walk in the city. At that moment, I found a city was so interesting. How I regret ignore its beauty before!
