A trip is a planned destination where one arranges in advance in which the main purpose is to search for adventure and to create a memorable moment. Here are the steps on how to make sure your trip is enjoyable.

● Plan it well.

Trips are ideally planned for it to go well.     1     A check list is helpful, making sure you’ve got all your needs.

● Pack necessities.

Bring what you need. Trips are short journeys and belong to the sub-level of travelling. Pack only the things you need.     2    

● Be safe.

To be cautious is smart. No matter what you are up to, surfing, cliff diving, snowboarding, scuba diving, etc., it is always recommended to be safe.     3     Don’t be stubborn and do harm to yourself when there are not precautions(预防措施).

You may see delays, a different culture, lifestyle, food, and even a shortage of cash. Sometimes, this is all what travel is about—experiencing things with a new perspective(观点，看法). Once you expect to experience new things, you’ll be a happy traveller and free from stress.

● Save the memory.

    5     This is not one of those regular days so you ought to save the moment. It will make your trip more enjoyable after all that craziness. You will get something to review the good times.

3 . If there is one piece of advice I have for people today to experience more joy in life, it is to travel more. Making the journey out to somewhere you’ve never gone before with an open schedule, to let life show you what are waiting for you.

As Danny Kaye once said, to travel is to take a journey into yourself. As you travel you get close to more new people, cultures, and lifestyles than those in your homeland all the time. With all the newness in your life, you’re also opened to new thoughts, ways of seeing the world and living.

Saint Augustine said “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” When you travel, you may realize how kind and friendly strangers can be. Beyond that, you have the whole world to learn about with every place you discovered, every person you met and every culture you experienced.

Tim Cahill claimed that a journey is best measured (测量) in friends, rather than miles. One of the first things you can learn from traveling is how easy it is to make friends. Something magical happens when they’re open to express themselves without feeling judged. That’s how you can become best friends with people when you’ve only known them for a few hours.

Helen Keller thought that life is either a brave adventure or nothing. Life is a wonderful gift. You can experience it and take action from now rather than say “I wish I had”, so you can say “I’m glad I did”.

4 . A trip to a theme park can be fun for a family or a group of friends. But waiting for hours in lines makes it feel a bit less magical.     1    .

    2    . Do some research first to make sure you’re getting the best price. Check travel deals websites and look for discounts through memberships you may already have.

Book in advance so you’re not stuck waiting in line for food. If you’re on a budget (节省费用), consider packing lunch in a cooler and putting it in a locker. When you’re ready for a break, you can find a shady spot for a quick bite.

It’ s tempting (诱惑人的) to sleep in while you’re on vacation.     4    . You’ll be able to ride the most popular rides before the lines get too long, and you’ll enjoy several hours at the park before the hottest part of the day.     5    .

As the Forbidden City approaches its 600th anniversary next year, a great change has been taking place, with dark and dusty corners of the palace brought back to their former glory for all to see. As recently as 2012, only 30 percent of the vast palace was open to the public. Now, 80 percent is accessible ― quickly filling with exhibition spaces, stylish restaurants and cafes, bookstores and highly profitable gift stores, as well as quiet walkways. Besides, great walls around it are now mostly open, allowing an overhead view of the grounds.

But even all that new space is not nearly enough to showcase(陈列) the treasures collected over the centuries by emperors. Now the Forbidden City can display only about 30,000 objects at a time, or 2 percent of its total.

By 2022, a new campus in the university district of Haidian, about 18 miles to the northwest, is scheduled to open to the public, a 153-acre area that will have room to show imperial carriages, carpets and regalia (礼服).

The museum staff members have also become more creative in using the space. During a visit, there was a show on how the imperial family celebrated the Chinese New Year, including reproductions of New Year’s couplets written by the Emperor Kang Xi, whose six-decade rule ended in 1722.

The new gift stores, which earned $220 million in sales in 2017, have also lifted their offerings. They once featured little more than key chains and ugly dolls; now, they have reproductions of porcelain (瓷器), textiles (织物) and even furniture.

Lisa Tan, a 38-year-old editor at a Beijing publishing house, said the new shops were attractive because they offered traditional porcelain made by government-recognized masters using traditional methods.

“It’s good that the Forbidden City is taking a lead in keeping these traditional practices alive,” Ms Tan said. “The gift store has even become fashionable in some circles.” And some of the more commercial activities are being limited, including photo studios where people can dress up like an emperor or empress.

Most visitors are still part of package tours that make people travel quickly through the central part of the palace. But taking a slower, more winding path through the Forbidden City is a better way to soak up the history and discover some of its secrets.

Centuries-old attraction is on full display in its perfectly preserved historic district, a shining example of a city built by early settlers with stone paths, churches. As one of the most famous sights in all of San Francisco，the Golden Gate Bridge is an absolute must-see. There are a few good spots to view it from，but my personal favorite is Baker Beach. This is also a particularly good spot to buy a meal from a local market，lay down a blanket and enjoy a picnic in the view of the famous bridge.

Fisherman's Wharf（码头）is one of the most touristy areas of San Francisco and the overpriced，crowded sights can be tiring. But on Wharf 41，there's a unique attraction: the Musee Mechanique. This museum has one of the largest collections of old indoors game machines in the world，which offers great amusements. Entry is free and it's only a couple of quarters to play the games.
