1 . When is the last time you slept under the stars and cooked dinner over an open fire? You never know — you may just fall back in love with the great outdoors and turn it into an annual vacation!

Escape the busy city life

Why go camping?    1    Once your tent and campsite is set-up, you don’t have to worry about cleaning, laundry or any other tasks that seem to consume your everyday life. And it’s a chance for you to turn off the smartphone, computer and other electronics to just sit back and relax.

    2

There’s so much beauty in the outdoors and we rarely get the chance to appreciate it. From beautiful mountains to freshwater lakes ideal for swimming, you’ll have your pick of outdoor activities to engage in.

Quality time with friends and family

3     This will give your friends and family a chance to have some true quality time together whether it’s playing sports, cooking or simply talking to one another — without the usual distractions (使人分心的事).

You can learn new skills

Living outdoors gives you the opportunity to learn some survival skills.     4     You may also learn how to protect yourself from mosquitoes and other insects, as well as experience how many material possessions you really can do without.

Camping is affordable

When it comes to budget vacations, a camping trip is one of the most economical choices for a family getaway. Groceries can be bought ahead of time and once you’ve settled into the campsite, there’s no need to worry about purchasing more food or buying souvenirs.     5     Happy camping!

6 . Many universities have carried out a study abroad requirement in order for students to receive a degree. Actually you will realize that travelling itself is an education.     1

Sitting in history is BORING. Honestly, I'd rather have to take chemistry than listen to a history professor go on and on and on about a civilization or some people I don't care about.     2     When I studied abroad in Germany, I made a lot of connections to history that I had learned about previously. Being there, where events actually took place, was cooler than looking at pictures on a PowerPoint slide.

3     If you study abroad and have to travel with a classmate, I guarantee you'll be able to identify some areas for improvement. I can remember many instances where I identified that I needed to become a better communicator. Having the experience of traveling will give you so many perspectives on life.

If you feel like you haven't exactly defined your identity, leave your home country for a semester or longer. I can guarantee that you'll come back with a better handle on who you are and what you have to offer the world.     4     In those five weeks, I learned more about who I am and what I represent than the previous year I had spent on my home campus.

You will return home with a new found appreciation for your life and the opportunities you've been given. After I traveled around Europe, I came home so much more thankful to go to a university with comfortable housing.     5     I couldn't have been happier to share a bathroom with 59 other 18- to 22-year-old girls. I couldn't have been happier to get up for my 8 a.m. courses.

A.But when you travel, history comes to life.
B.Here are some reasons why you should consider traveling to enhance your learning.
C.When you travel, you'll have to learn a different way of living.
D.I had such a deepened appreciation for what I had been given.
E.I found out so many things about myself when I was in Germany.
F.All in all, traveling will enhance your classroom learning experiences.
G.Things like communication skills can't always be polished in a classroom.

7 . You want to have fun and adventure and so you decide to travel somewhere to do it. Sounds like a simple enough thing. And basically it is. But what is adventure?     1

For those who love sports, adventure travel can have a whole different meaning than for those who like history. The physical travel types that you can find include such adventure travel as white water rafting (白浪漂流), climbing and hiking to some mountains somewhere. To the hiker, backpacking across Ireland might be their adventure.     2    Often the goal is to push their body’s limits and test their individual endurance (耐力).

For those who less want to climb mountains, it might mean traveling to Nepal and joining in the local festivals.    3     Anything that is going beyond the normal defines (定义) adventure.

4    Adventure depends on the persons physical limits, how much money the person has and what the person enjoys doing. If your life is quite busy, then sitting on a beach in the moonlight with your family might be adventure for you. The point is not what you do but that you have a good time and that it is an adventure for YOU—not for the person next to you.

Do not sit home this year when vacation time rolls around.     5    You will be rewarded handsomely.

A.Adventure travel is not necessarily suitable for everyone.
B.To those sports lovers, adventure travel means nothing but harm.
C.Adventure travel is not necessarily a one-size-fits-all type of vacation.
D.That is the key here and the answer can be different for different people.
E.Just go beyond your normal routine and head out on an adventure vacation.
F.For this type of person, adventure travel almost always means something physical.
G.Wine tasting in Italy is also vacation adventure for those who enjoys peace and comfort.
