8 . In this article we will introduce you to four Disney Parks around the world. Each one is unique in its own way including design and look, attractions, characters, dining and more.

Tokyo Disney Resort is located just outside of Tokyo on 494 acres(英)of land. It contains two parks, Disneyland Park and DisneySea. Disneyland Park opened first in 1983, followed by DisneySea in 2001. There is a shopping mall called Ikspirari where guests can ride into the resort using the Tokyo Subway and a monorail(单轨电车)that connects both parks.

Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest Disney resort in the world, with only 68 acres. It opened in 2005 and only has one park, Disneyland. Of all the Disney Parks in the world, Hong Kong was the first to receive a new castle in 2020.

There are currently seven lands at this resort, including Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point. The latter two KONG are only found at Hong Kong Disneyland. The resort will soon feature two new lands, including Frozen and Stark Expo.

The only Disney Resort found in Europe, Disneyland Paris is located just outside the city of Paris, France. It’s made up of two theme parks, Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios.

The resort opened in 1992 with just Disneyland Park which was followed by the Walt Disney Studios park in 2002. The resort covers 4,800 acres and has been updated several times and will soon feature Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars Lands.

Shanghai Disney Resort officially opened in 2016 after a one-year delay. The resort features seven lands, including Adventure Isle, Gardens of Imagination, Mickey Avenue, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove, Fantasyland and Toy Story Land.

When the park opened, a new attraction based on Tron was introduced and has since become one of the most popular Disney park rides world. It sits on 963 acres of land.

9 . As a student of International Relations and Chinese, I have been living in China for the past three years. Tibet was a region I was eager to travel to but its remoteness and my inability to find the right time to go delayed my journey. After a few e-mails back and forth with my dad in the UK, who doubted my choice, we decided to take a pause in our lives to begin our journey early in the morning of July 3rd.

We started our journey on Saturday morning at the Guangzhou train station. It was a good thing that we had secured a couple of soft seats as we were about to begin the journey. We started the first part of the journey, admiring the mysterious mountains of south China. The next day it changed quite suddenly to the dry landscape of central-west China as we passed through Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces. That evening we arrived in Qinghai Province, where we hoped for the Xining-Lhasa train.

We were greeted on the train with Tibetan yogurt. The following afternoon we arrived in Lhasa. Later that day, we started our journey to the Qomolangma base camp by road from Lhasa. Along the way we stopped to admire the beautiful and large river, the beautiful clouds and huge freshwater lake that is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. All the beauty contributed to making a picturesque countryside Tibet.

About a week later, we arrived at the Qo olangma basecamp in the afternoon. We were staying in a guesthouse just next to the basecamp and then we headed straight outside to see the wonderful Mt Qomolangma. The tip of the mountain could be seen through clouds, astonishing us with its unbelievable height and wonderful scenery. The clouds cleared away and we watched the sunset over the top of the mountain. Each of us was really impressed by Mt Qomolangma’s magnificence (壮丽) .

10 . The second half of 2020 began on Wednesday, as tourism returned with further opening of economies. International travel has resumed as airports reopened months after strict aviation restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. About 300 tourists on two flights from Ukraine on Wednesday landed in Egypt’s Red Sea resort cities. Upon arrival at the local airport, the passengers were greeted with flowers, souvenirs, and folk music and dancing.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Beirut airport also resumed operation after four months of being closed, with measures taken to detect suspected infections.

The Turkish government has been gradually relaxing COVID-19 restrictions, with cafes and gaming halls across the country reopening alongside precautionary measures, such as wearing of masks, and social distancing measures.

In Europe, the first tourist train from the Czech Republic in months arrived in Croatia’s coastal city of Rijeka on Wednesday morning. The 550 passengers were greeted by Croatian Tourism Minister Gari Capelli.

In Italy, a government policy intended to promote tourism took effect on Wednesday. According to a promotional program, low-and medium-income households, couples, and individuals who spend holidays at Italian tourist facilities can benefit from a financial bonus of up to $560.

In Finland, a large-scale open-air market and dining area opened to the public on Wednesday, in a move to encourage the catering and tourism industries. With 480 seats in total, a diverse selection of food and drinks, including breakfast, lunch, fine dining and cocktails, are to be served daily on a “Super Terrace” through the end of August.
