For ages, sailors have said that it is a good luck to see dolphins swum alongside boats. Their presence meant that land is near, which will be vital informations if a boat and its crew are in dangerous. Some dolphins have even protected sailors which suffer shipwreck from sharks. There is no wonder that these unique and fascinating creatures have known as our friends.
Dolphins are thought to be intelligent animals because of their quick ability to learn. They seem to communicate with each other through a combination of whistles and clicks. While scientists don’t know exact what they are talking about, it is thought that dolphins are telling each other that food is nearby, or warning each other of approach danger.
The environment pollution was more and more serious today. We have no clean water to drink it because of water pollution. And when trees cut down, some animals disappear. There is more and more dirty smoke in the air. People’s health has been great affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people have died of diseases causing by pollution. In order to live the better life, it’s time for us to protect our world. We should recycle, reduce and reuse things, what saves money and reduces pollution. Use things so long as possible. Don’t use plastic bag. Besides, we must plant more trees and stop people cutting it down. We hope our world will be more and more beautiful.

Plastic bags can be found everywhere, that results in a great waste of resources and heavy environmentally pollution.
Luckily, the government has put a nationwide ban the use of free plastic bags, demanding all stores and supermarkets not provided customers with free plastic bags. The rule will undoubtedly reduce the use of plastic bags and enhance the aware of environmental protection.
As students, we should do your part to cut back on the use of plastic bags. For example, we had better to have meals in our canteen instead of bring food back with plastic bags. It is also high advocated that we should turn to cloth bags or shopping baskets from then on.

One day, I was taking the walk in my neighbourhood. There was a great many dogs playing around. I noticed a small one which hairs were pure white. It was a smart dog I couldn’t take my eye off. At that moment a little boy came up and wanted to play with him. Never before had the dog saw the boy, so it started to run after him or barked. In panic, the boy begged the dog not bite him. It was so much lucky that the dog’s owner soon took it away. Now, I still have no idea when the small dog suddenly attacked him.
Last week I visited a small village to see the brown bears, what come to the villages at night to look at food. I waited with some tourist. As it grew dark, we see the huge black shapes of the bears. Those clever bears knew where to go for its dinner: the rubbish where there was lots of food people have thrown away. Although it’s wonderful to see the bears in the village, but it can only mean one thing: their habitat is disappearing. They would prefer to stay hiding in the mountain forests, but the trees have cut down for firewood. However, they cannot find enough food any more.

Jonnie’s dream to Antarctica finally came true. It was Brazil that Jonnie accidentally discovered she could have an access to last-minute cheap deals on ships going to Antarctica, and she did it. On April 4th, 2010, he boarded a ship with 38 passengers and began her journey. With abundant wildlife and spectacular sunrises, Antarctica left an impression with her that no other place has ever done. As she reached Antarctica, she found herself greet by a group of little Gentoo penguins longing to saying hello. These walking gatekeepers gentle welcomed her and kick-started that was to be an unforgettable experience. So precious was this land until it hit home to Jonnie.

As we all know, a year consists of four seasons, each of them has its own features. However, my favourite one is summer. The reasons are as followed.
First of all, summer was “hot”. I am not just referring to temperature. People as well become enthusiastic. In summer, people will go to skating, swimming, running, climbing and anything excited. Besides, sceneries in summer is the most appealing, which causes people to go out and feels the vivid life surrounding them.
In my opinions, four seasons make a complete circle of the year, or at least one season is your cup of tea, just as summer is mine.

Learning you are interested in a waste-sorting program in China, I am writing to give for you a brief introduction. As far as I know, Shanghai had become the pioneer of waste sorting in our country. Residents in Shanghai are allowed to simply dump their waste bags in dustbin. Instead, domestic waste is required to be classifying into four categories: dry refuse, wet trash, recyclable waste or dangerous waste. Face with the new rule and for every waste item under careful supervision (监督), many citizens in Shanghai find it a little too complicated and difficult. However, the majority of the people firm support the policy because it helps us live a greener life and makes our country most beautiful.

Among all the cities in China, I love my hometown best. Locating in the southwest of China, it has a mild climate and fantastic natural sceneries. It’s neither too hot or too cold and beautiful plants can be found everywhere. But it’s not the natural beauty that attracted me most. That I like best is the architecture here. Compared with other cities, there aren’t a good many of high-rise buildings here. Besides, you can find varieties of classical Chinese buildings, which remind people about the past and create relaxed atmosphere. Also, the friendly people and delicious food here adds its charm. As a local student, I really feel fortunately to live in this city.
