Tom loved dogs and really wanted to keeping a dog as a pet. However, his mother had to work and had no time to look for after a pet. One day, a homeless dog gave birth to eight puppies in the garden. Hello everyone! I've just came back from a wonderful trip to Tibet. It's such beautiful that I seemed to be taken into a fairyland（仙境）. The scenery is so impressive or the air is so bright and clean. Visitors are being told to pay attention to protect the environment. Therefore, this beautiful countryside is being spoiled by careless visitors. Cans, plastic bags and paper is being thrown away by many tour groups as they pass through Tibet. I am worrying about the effect this will have the local wildlife. My name is Ma Lili, an survivor of the Tangshan earthquake in 1976. Many strange things had happened before the earthquake , but we didn't take them serious. Fifteen seconds late, the large city lay in ruin. My family and I were buried under the building. Luckily, soldiers came to our rescue in time. It was reported that Tangshan was the centre of the earthquake but tens of thousands of people died, what shocked the world! Strange things were happening in the countryside of northeast Hebei. For three days water in the village wells rose and fell, rose and fell. Farmers noticed that the well walls had deep cracks in it. Fish jumped out of their bowls and ponds. At about 3:00 am in July 28, 1976, some people saw bright lights in the sky. The sound of planes could be heard of outside the city of Tangshan even when no planes were in the sky. In the city, the water pipes in some buildings cracked and bursting. But the one million people of the city, that thought little of these events, were asleep as usually that night.
