When I was in primary school, I often went to the wetland of my hometown, there I could see many different kinds of animals, including wild birds, fish, snakes, insets and so on. That was an interesting place for I and my friends to watch the birds and study them. And things have begin to change in recent years. Small birds are being caught up with nets. Wild ducks are being sold at food markets. And even bad, the wetland is being destroyed. Some parts are being covered with new house. You can see rubbish everywhere. The wetland is being polluted serious every day. I am very worried it. How can we do?
The environment pollution was more and more serious today. We have no clean water to drink it because of water pollution. And when trees cut down, some animals disappear. There is more and more dirty smoke in the air. People’s health has been great affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people have died of diseases causing by pollution. In order to live the better life, it’s time for us to protect our world.
Firstly, we shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. And we should recycle, reduce and reuse things, that saves money and reduces pollution. Use things so long as possible. Don’t use plastic bag. Besides, we must plant more trees and stop people cutting it down. We hope our world will be more and more beautiful.

After school, I was about to enter into my apartment then I saw a little dirty dog lying beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediate the homeless dog filled me with mercy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become a member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company. Natural disasters often come unexpectedly, killed many people and destroying countless homes. But what on earth lead to natural disasters? One Saturday’s afternoon, Li Hua and Wang Ping were having an environmental protection activity near the riverside while they caught sight of a bird on the ground. They picked it out immediately and found it wounded.
Think it might die without timely help, they took it home. They made a nest for it and feed it with rice and water. Under their treatment and care, the lucky birds got recovered soon. When time came to fly the bird back to the nature, they felt very delighted.

Last month, our school launched a campaign which intention was to promote environmental protection. The campaign last for one week. Last week, our school was held an activity about forest fire prevention, on which over 500 teachers and students participated.
First, we watched several video about how forest fires start, how dangerously they can be and what to do to prevent them. In the meantime, the fireworkers inviting shared their experiences and showed us what to use fire-fighting equipment. Then each class designing their own blackboard newspaper showing the dangers of forest fire and action we should take in our daily life prevent forest fires.
The students think the activity is meaningful, it lets them realize forest fires can be deadly. Even so, they can do anything to prevent and control them.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed of keeping on a dog. My parents disagreed, say that I was so young to take care of myself, let alone a dog. I didn’t give up. Instead, I tried to be independence and helped with housework. A few month later, my parents found that I had become considerate than before. They finally approve of my request. On my eight birthday, they bought me a lovely dog as the gift. Following my parents’ direction, I’ve learned how to raise the dog. I still miss those days that we accompanied each other.
