Last Sunday, I went to the market with my mother to buy some freshly vegetables. My mother spent a long time bargaining before she paid for vegetables she had chosen. She wanted to get it at the lowest price because of she thought she could save some money in this way. Before coming back, she cooked such many dishes that we couldn’t eat them all. So we had to throw some foods away. As a result, the money we wasted was much than that saved from bargaining. I couldn’t help feel concerned. I think the best way to save money was to stop wasting.

Feeding birds is a popular way to watch wildlife during the winter months. But many bird experts say the experience is often pleasant for people than for bird. And it might even put wild birds at the risk. They put feeders in places that birds are frightened by foot traffic, risk being hurt by cats, or risk flying into windows. A solution was to put the food in more than one place by using different kind of seeds and feeders. Nyjer seeds, for example, are definite a favorite of goldfinches. Tube feeders with wire covers prevent large birds from entered. Another word of advice: Do not feed wild birds anything salt, like potato chips, or food that could choke them, like plain bread.
But for hummingbirds-which are very, very small-put water on large plant leaves to attract them.

A city，whether big and small，should be clean. Only when we live in a clean city we live a happy life. As we know，a clean city，that disease may be reduced and people's health may be better，are good both to our mind and body. No one believes people lived in a dirty city with waste everywhere can live happy. However，as more and more people moving into our city，it is not easy to keep our city clean. Beside，some factories will pour waste into the air，the river and onto the ground，making it is hard to keep our city clean. To make our city the better place to live in，we still have a lot to do.

As we all know, it’s great pleasure to study in a beautiful environment that you can breathe in fresh air and enjoy birds singing. To create a more beautiful campus, every one of us should make it our duty to protect the environment. Here is my suggestions for you.
To begin with, it is better for us to walk or ride a bicycle to school because cars produced carbon dioxide, which contributes to the global warming. Also, we should never forget to turn of the lights and the taps when we don’t use them. Besides, we are expected it to take good care of the plants in our campus and get rid of the bad habit of throw rubbish everywhere. Last but not least, it is vital for us to recycle as many as possible.
All in all, do keep in mind that our contribution are of value in keeping our campus more tidy and beauty.

My family took an amazed trip to the northwest last summer. At the first ,we flew to Lanzhou but then visited the famous Iron Bridge there.We also tasted Lanzhou beef noodles, which were the most delicious noodles I had never had. Two days late， we went to the Mogao caves on the Silk Road. That impressed me most was the fantastic wall paintings. Finally，we reach our final destination，the Qinghai Lake，surrounded by mountains. The scenery was unbelievable beautiful. We found volunteers collecting rubbishes along the bank and we joined them too. Only then I realize we could make a difference to our environment.

Last month we bought our two-year-old daughter a little dog. There are not many children of her age there we live, and we thought a dog would make her feel less alone. We were right. There is too many people and too many pollution on the earth. If we moved to the moon one day，how would life be like there?
In my opinion, life would be much more comfort on the moon than on the earth. There wouldn't be pollution or traffic jam. We could go wherever we like in one minute by the spaceship, which would be much fast than a train or an airplane. We would eat whatever you like without being concerned unhealthy ingredients. This is a place where I am always dreaming about.

I took a trip to China a few months before. It was a wonderful experience which I couldn’t really describe it. We spent three weeks visit Beijing, Shanghai and several other tourist attraction. The close we approached the centre of China, the more I liked it. Then we went to Hong Kong last week, where I think is different from Beijing. It is noisiest and busiest place I have ever seen. And another thing that give me a deep impression was the people—they were so friendly. Anyway, the trip itself was interested. I can’t wait to leave to China again.

Spring is my favorite season of the year. The days are not so hot even though the sun shone brightly. The trees and grasses look greener. Whatever I look, I can see so many pretty flowers. It rains sometimes but not so much. We needn’t wear so many clothes to keeping ourselves warm. I like to play in my garden earlier in the morning. I feel energetically because it is clean and fresh on spring. On holidays, we would have the breakfast in the garden. It is pleasant to sit outside. They are so many things I like about spring. That is why is my favorite season.
