The problem of “white pollution” was caused by using plastic is becoming increasingly serious, on which plastic shopping bags play an important role. In China, about three billions plastic shopping bags are consumed every day, that results in a great waste of resources and heavy environmental pollution. Lucky, the government has put a nationwide ban on the use of free plastic bags, demand that no stores or supermarkets should provide customers with free plastic bags. The rule will undoubtedly reduce use of plastic bags or promote the awareness of environmental protection. It was highly suggested that everyone turns to cloth bags and shopping baskets.
3 . As warming continues, scientists warn the oxygen content of oceans across the planet could be more and more reduced, with serious consequences for the future of fish and other sea life.
Global warming is expected to reduce the mixing of the ocean by making surface seawater lighter. That’s because in a warmer world we can expect more rainfall and more melting (融化) of glaciers, icebergs, and ice sheets.
A low-oxygen ocean may become an inescapable feature of our planet. A team of Danish researchers wondered how long oxygen levels would drop if we could somehow reduce our carbon dioxide emissions to zero by 2100. They determined that over the next few thousand years oxygen levels would continue to fall, until they declined by 30 percent. The oxygen would slowly return to the oceans, but even 100,000 years from now they will not have fully recovered.
A.It’s not known why the oxygen level of oceans has reduced. |
B.Scientists point to two reasons to expect a drop in ocean oxygen. |
C.Fresh water’s inpouring will make the water at the ocean’s surface lighter. |
D.The oxygen then spreads to the deep ocean as the surface water slowly sinks. |

G.If they are right, we have every reason to worry about the major effect it has on sea life. |

I’d like to tell you something about the problem of pollution we are facing to. As we know, the factory beside our school gives off heavy smoke all day long. Very loudly noises hurt our ears. Rubbish and waste were thrown here or there. It also sends out pollute water and poisonous gas. All this has done great harms to the health and study of the teachers and students. But after time goes by, little has done to change the situation. I don’t think you can study well before the problem is solved. We do hope if you’ll help and support us.

There used to be a factory near my house. The factory manager was blaming by the government because of the pollution had harmed people’s health. But even then, he paid not attention. Then the factory forced to stop production. The manager said angry, “Is there any fact that we had harmed people’s health yet? In fact, we haven’t.” Just then, a doctor came, with the result of a medical examine, saying the manager was suffering from cancer. This is very clear that the pollution has harmed not only other people’s health and also the manager himself. At last, he realized an importance of keeping the air clean.

An American scientist has found that using aspirin (阿斯匹林) increase the temporary (暂时的)hearing loss or damage from loud noise. He found that students who were given four grams of aspirin a day for two days suffered much greater temporary hearing loss than those who did not use aspirin. The hearing loss was about two times as great.
The scientist said millions of persons in the U.S. use much larger amounts of aspirin than were used in his experiment. He said these persons face a serious danger of suffering hearing loss from loud noise.
