3 . Four Wonderful Places To Watch The Stars
When searching for tourist destinations, are you always spending a lot of time making decisions? These four wonderful places across the US have the darkest night skies for you to view stars.
Homer Glen, Illinois
Homer Glen is a designated (指定的) Dark Sky Community and now another opportunity for people in Chicago and other Midwesterners to see the Milky Way (银河). While the city is larger than other similar sites, with around 25,000 people, it manages to reduce light pollution to provide a good environment for better night sky viewing.
Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota
Minnesota, the land with over 14,000 lakes, is home to this water-based national park. A daytime visit can be spent hiking the roads and doing activities on the water like boating and fishing, but a nighttime stay is a must to view the bright starry skies.
Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve, Idaho
Idaho is America’s first International Dark Sky Reserve. The designation, built in 2017, is a result of nearly twenty years of local efforts to reduce light pollution in the area. In the summer, the reserve offers hiking, biking, fishing, and camping. And in the winter, visitors can ski and go to the mountains.
Great Sand Dunes (沙丘) National Park and Preserve, Colorado
This Colorado national park is home to the tallest sand dunes in North America with some rising over 700 feet tall and offers daytime activities like sand boarding, and horse riding. At night, the dunes become an important place to see a clear view of the Milky Way.

5 . Sirine Jahangir has been singing, writing and performing music since she was a little girl. She lost all her vision in one eye by the time she turned 5, so now the teen uses her gift “as a way to —not escape, but to help me through.” Not only did her passion get her through some difficult times, but when she was 14 it also brought her to the “Britain’s Got Talent” stage, where she impressed everyone with her performance.
Sirine has a rare condition that left her completely blind by the time she was 10 years old. While her parents and doctors have tried to find treatments for her, there isn’t much they can do. So her parents focused on helping her adjust to her new life, which was when her dad said she was first introduced to music. “I remember one day, we were driving in the car. This is about when she was getting to the stage where she couldn’t look out the window anymore to see things, and I didn’t know what to do. I just put the music on really loud. She started singing in the car, and she was so happy. And then she just found happiness every time I put it on,” her father said.
It didn’t take long for them to realize Sirine has tremendous talent. When she appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent”, she told everyone just how much her passion means to her. “I guess music is my vision,” she said. “That’s just what I live by, and music is my thing.” Then she headed over to the piano, where she played the piano and sang beautifully enough to bring the audience to tears! Unsurprisingly to everyone but Sirine, all four judges voted her into the next round of the competition!
Afterward, she said, “I can’t even say it’s a dream come true, because I didn’t even dream of it at any point... I never thought that would be realistic in my life.”

People who live in the countryside generally live longer than those who live in the city. A number of reasons may also help explain this point.
To start with, farmers are in close contact with nature. They breathe fresh air. They make friends with trees and stones, cows and dogs. They listen to the songs of birds. They fight with strong winds. This contact with nature is good for the health of both body and spirits.
Next, hard physical work keeps farmers fit and healthy. It is widely believed that farmers suffer from far less diseases than people in the city. They are many diseases that are common in the city, but not in the countryside. For example, near-sightedness is almost unknown to farmers. Besides, being free from urban pressure does good to the health of farmers.
Moreover, because there are less cars, motorcars and other kinds of vehicles in the countryside, one can walk more freely without being afraid of accidents. The environment is better in the countryside, which makes the farmers live a quiet and peaceful life.
The farmers can also get fresh grain, vegetables, fruits and milk easily. They enjoy these advantages that people living in the city cannot.

10 . A national hero and a world number one in badminton, Lee Chong Wei is surely one of Malaysia's best-known athletes. He has received numerous medals. Lee and Nicol David, who is also a Malaysian player, received the title of Datuk due to the outstanding achievements they had brought to the country.
Having a strong will, Lee continually challenged himself to rise above the competitors, narrowly missing out on the gold medal and taking the silver at the 2012 London Olympics.
