The three Chinese astronauts were the second team sent to orbit to help with space station construction. They completed their six-month mission and returned to Earth safely     1    . It nearly doubled the previous record of 92 days set by the Shenzhou-12. The return capsule of the Shenzhou-13 manned spaceship, carrying astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu,     2    at the Dongfeng landing site in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The ground rescue and recovery team arrived at the landing point immediately, and the     3    , opened the hatch (舱门) and confirmed the crew was in good health. Zhai Zhigang got out of the return capsule first, reporting “feeling good”.     4    Shenzhou-13 crew member Wang Yaping, the first spacewalking Chinese woman, waved to her daughter with a big smile after getting out of the return capsule. And Ye Guangfu, the youngest member of the three, soon joined them     5    .

Short space trips for paying passengers on the way

CAS Space, a Beijing-based rocket company, is designing a set of reusable rockets and spacecraft to send paying passengers on short trips into space. Yang Yiqiang, the founder of CAS Space, told China Daily on Wednesday if everything goes according to plan, the combination of the rocket and spaceship will become mature after at least 15 test flights and will be able to     1     up to seven tourists per trip to an altitude of more than 100 kilometers, about 10 times the cruising altitude of a     2     jetliner.
