There will be a lecture on a history of the Emperor Palace giving by Professor Ramksy in the lecture hall at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon. If you are interest in the lecture, and please arrive at the hall half an hour in advance. The lecture hall was not far from your hotel. You may walk there, that will take you only a few minutes. When you go out the hotel, turn left and walk straightly down the street until you come to a traffic light. Take a right turn there, walk two crossing, and you will see a post office on your left. The lecture hall is next to them.
See you tomorrow afternoon.

Today I’d like to tell you anything about riding a bike in London. If you visit London, you’ll see many buses, cars or bikes. It’s very cheap and quick to use bike. If you take a bus, I often have to wait for an hour or so. Besides, the buses move very slowly. The underground is quickly but expensive and often crowded. I used to travel to work by bus. I was often late, and tiring. Then a friend suggested we went to work by bike. I followed him. Although we went slowly, but we always arrived on time. Taking a bus takes 50 minutes, while ride a bike only half an hour. Now I love riding to work and I feel more better.

How an unbelievable scene! A modern young couple were eating fruit in public and had thrown a plenty of waste on the ground. When an old cleaner comes to clean up, the man was very angry. He pointed at the cleaner, said in a loud voice, “How impolite! They haven’t finished eating!” “How could people behave such badly?” I thought. Obvious, in their eyes, they could do all they liked and ignore others’ feelings. In my opinion, we should pay attention our behavior, obey public rules and respect others’ works. We should know that really civilized people are those who have good manners but a beautiful mind all the time.

I love camping. It is my favourite way to spent the summer vacation. Last year, my families and I went camping in the countryside. It was one of the excited experiences I had never had. We slept in a tent and took a long walk every day. We cook over a fire and the food always tasted wonderfully. For a whole week, I saw lovely mountain views or breathed fresh air. At night, I heard the gentle wind blowing in the tree, and I feel so peaceful. It doesn’t cost many to camp. What I believe it’s the best way to get close nature and enjoy its beauty.

I often quarrel about my mother over whether I can watch TV after school. She holds a view that senior three students have to make fully use of every minute to work hard at their lessons. It seems to me that once I am allowed to do that, I’ll unable to control myself and forget all about my study. She also thinks it is bad for my eye. But I really can’t accept her ideas. In my opinion, watch TV can set my mind at rest after a day’s hardly work. Besides, it is important for us to know what had happened at home and abroad. However, we shouldn’t be forbidden to watch TV.
7 . When I talked with the man, I found that from his childhood he develops the habit of carrying the book in his pocket all the time. He was used to read every minute when he had anything else to do. He found a book especial useful during the periods of waiting: waiting doctors, meals, buses and so on... That was why he found himself fifteen minute a day for reading. That was how she read twenty books a year-----one thousand of books all his lifetime.

Great changes have been taken place in the way people communicate with each other. In the
past people write letters to share informations and later they talked with each other in the telephone
Now more and more people use our own mobile phones to communicating. And instead writing on
the paper, they e-mail to each other on the computer. As a result, people find that quicker and easier
to communicate, and at the same time some people feel that they become poorer in writing. They
worry about whether people can be as closely as before.
