Aiming to provide an opportunity with students to enrich their knowledge about Western culture, yesterday the English club organizes a visit to the art exhibition of David Hockney in the City Art Gallery. He is one of the most influential British artists. I was fortunately to participate. Together with other club members, I admired some masterpieces by David and watched a video about her. My favorite part was watching the digital versions of the paintings, which enabled me observe those great work from different angles and have a new insight into them. Although that this exhibition displayed was limited, but I think the visit meaningful and beneficial. After all, learn English is not only about the language itself, but also a culture it comes from.

Yuan Longping is known for the father of hybrid rice. He devotes his life to make not only China but also the world free from hunger. He has two dreams. One is to enjoy the cool under the rice tree. The other is that his hybrid rice can be grown global. But turning dreams into reality are hard to achieve, what takes a lot of time and efforts. For me, my dream is to be English teacher. The other day, I was invited my friend Sam's home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. Recently, a famous basketball player has caused public angry by writing on the Great Wall. In the fact, this happens in many place of interest. I had some suggestions to solve this problem.
First, make more posters to inform the public the damage of graffiti (涂鸦). Besides, punishments, such as a fine, is necessary to tourists with so bad behavior. Also, I think it’s helpfully to put up some boards along the tourist attractions that tourists can leave messages.

I’d like to talking about my most memorable experience. It was the trip to Australia I had three years before with my dance group to participate in international dance festival. It was the first time I had travelled by plane in my life. My mum worried a lot, so everything went smoothly. I stayed there for two week and it was the happiest time in my life. Besides our performances there, we have much excitement. We spent on almost every morning sunbathing on the beautiful beach and swam in the blue sea. But warmly Australian nights were which I adored most of all. It was a time of joy, light, music and summer parties.

My father took me out camping for the first time when I was seven. He wanted teach me about animals, insects and trees. My uncles all come along with bows and arrows for hunting.
One evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, have our barbecue. Just then a bird was flying over us. My uncles immediate jumped up and shot their arrows on the bird.
