In order to promote participation in outdoor exercise, our school organized an activity to climb Mount Tai last Sunday. The majority of my classmates joined the activity. Early in the morning, we gathered outside the school gate and head for Mount Tai. We were in high spirits when the moment we arrived at the foot of the mountain. In a course of the climb, we cooperated with each other and eventually we reached the summit, which we enjoyed the bright sunshine and fresh air. Viewing from the top, the city was beautiful. There we entertained us with stories, songs, dances and game. This event was extreme beneficial. Therefore, we strongly suggest that similar events are held every year!

Hi, Eric! What to improve your spoken English is really a problem. I use to meet such a problem but now I speak English well. I listen to highly-quality spoken English every day and record my own speech. Play it back, I compare the pronunciation of the speakers with my and correct my wrong pronunciation. Besides, I practice speaking English in public as often as possible, which help me gain confidence and fluency. I hope these suggestions will benefit from you.
However, I have trouble in reading. But I know the meanings of most words, I can’t understand the whole sentence because of some set idiom and phrases. Any good advice? I eager for your help.

Good morning, everyone. It is my honor to stand here and share with something about traveling. Which I’d like to convey is that to travel is also to learn. Take my journey to Xi’an for example. Previous, I did learn something about the city from books and TV programs. Therefore, I didn’t know what wonderful it was until I was there in person. When traveling, we can feel the surrounding with our own eyes, noses and so on, thus broaden our horizons. The picture taken on the Great Wall is good reminder of my happy days when I stay in Xi’an. So everyone, seize every chance or you will start an amazing journey to learn.

That is because I think it is a good choice for us to put away our travel. I will appreciate if you could allow me to fix another date. If it’s convenience for you, shall we travel there during the summer vacations? If not, please keep me informed of what time suited you best in advance.

My hometown Wu Wei , which lies in the northwest of Gansu Province, is a city with rolling hills, valleys and basins. It’s beautiful place for people to live in. Its economy has been growing rapid during the past ten year. New bridges and roads have been setting up and high buildings stood in many parts of the city. The number of schools and hospitals available to people are also on the increase. So there are still some problems, such as like frequent traffic jams and severe air pollution, which have a bad influence on people’s daily life. Despite these problems, I am convinced that my hometown will become much beautiful. Time permitting, you are welcome to visit them.

Today, I was walking to work on a busy street. I passed by blind elderly lady sitting in cold wind. Seen her old face and sightless eyes, I stopped immediately. Then I took out some money, bend down to her level and gently pressed them into her hand. The lady slight nodded her head with appreciations. I felt blessed but moved on. This small interaction helped with me understand the meaning of giving. How a blessing it is to be kindness to those in need.

When I was a senior in a high school, I had a teacher calling Mrs. Smith. She taught English and she has an important effect on me. She was fill of love for us. She had our class to make posters and hang it around the school. She taught us that one kindly act can go long way. Well, Mrs. Smith passed away just a couple of year ago after a long battle with the breast cancer. I’ll never forget how a wonderful and sweet lady she was. I am going to be a teacher like her and I’ll always remember his kindness.
